  1. Stay with a Ford battery. Autozone, Sears, and all the other batteries are junk from my experience. The only battery I will run is a Motorcraft or an Interstate. And the hybrid battery is NOT even close to a 65 series battery. The 67R is about half the size of a 65.
  2. The 2011 has an option for a trunk mat with the hybrid emblem embroidered into it. It's carpet, not rubber/plastic. I ordered one for my 2010. It was a little over $120.00. Nick
  3. I don't believe it is working correctly. I can put the drivers side on at 70 and the passenger at 60 and there is no difference in fan speed or really temperature on the passenger side. It seems like everything is based off of the drivers side setting. If I put it at 90 degrees on the passenger side, it does become a little warmer, but not my definition of "dual zone". Is there a problem here? Nick
  4. I work for bridgestone/firestone and they offer a free change over when you purchase a new car. I took off the Michelins and put on the bridgestone turanza with serenity. While they are great in dry, wet, and light snow, they did negatively effect my mileage by 2-4 mpg. Bridgestone has a new line called ecopia, which is a low rolling resistance tire, in sizes for all the prius's but not the ffh size.
  5. Got my brake recall and a "dash software upgrade" done at the same time to try to fix this problem. Well, so far it has done a full reset once, and some how, someway, turned off the fuel economy bar graphs by itself. They weren't actually turned off, but the display was blank in that spot. I had to go through the menu and it was checked on bar graphs, but I had to click it again for it to pop back on, and then it reset it to a 10 min. display, instead of the 60 min. I had it on.... Also my BLIS is acting up now on the left side... Good Lord... Technology > Ford. Nick
  6. I just had my brake recall done and a "dash software upgrade" done, and this is happening now.... Pretty annoying... gives me an error message that the BLIS is not functioning correctly and to look at the owners manual. I just turn the car off then back on and it goes away. Nick
  7. My FFH has the exact same problem. It's happened multiple times. I would say atleast 20-30 times. Sometimes only the short term (bar graphs instead of the leaves) will reset, and sometimes the whole dash will reset to factory defaults, clearning the long term fuel and everything else... It's really annoying my wife (she drives it). We have yet to have the brake flash recall done yet, so I cannot attest to that fixing the problem. We do have an appointment in late April to have the recall done. My vehicle was manufactured 08/09. Nick
  8. You have to activate your VHR on syncmyride.com Nick
  9. Did any one notice when the wipers park, the actually come back up about a 1/2 inch, to keep the wipers from "remembering" the normal park position of the blade itself. This helps to prevent wiper bounce on the up stroke. I have Bosch Icons on the FFH, and Bosch Evolutions on my other vehicles. I love their products! I also run Rain-X with great results, and no wiper bounce on any of my vehicles. I tried Aquapel, and it basically sucked. It did nothing. Nick
  10. I'm wondering too. No paint chips, but the grill does have one chip in it...
  11. Mine had THREE HUGE dealer badges on it, below all three Hybrid emblems. They said to bring it back and they will take them off and detail the car again. I had a friend bring up fishing line while we waited on paper work and I took them off right infront of them and all their customers.
  12. looks like a mexican put that together.................
  13. It took almost 20 weeks for mine to come in after ordering it. I was told the FFH were on a "lottery" and there were so many orders that they couldn't keep up with the demand... so cars were built on a "lottery". I believe(d) this because every dealer locally told me the same thing... "Most cars take 8-9 weeks to build, but the FFH could take up to 6 months". But I'm happy with the car and it was worth the wait. Nick
