Howie411 Report post Posted May 21, 2010 Went to the Car Wash today, and when I got in my car after they had finished drying it, it said Service AdvanceTrac on the dash and the car with the lines was lit up. I drove out of the parking lot, turned off the car and turned it back on and the message was gone. Any ideas? Just a fluke? Something got wet that shouldn't have? lolder Report post Posted May 21, 2010 The car wash drag rollers can cause that system to activate. I don't think you have a problem.

jay2000 Report post Posted May 31, 2010 I had this warning Saturday. I am not sure what set it. It may have been a hard turn I made, that could have set in motion the Electronic Stability Control. Not sure. Turning the car off and on was no help. A call to the dealer service department was no help. ( My biggest concern was how safe is it to drive???) I left the car off for a few minutes, and the error did not clear. I finally decided to go ahead and drive, at least a little, after all, it was a 3 day weekend and I was not going to be without my new car! About a mile down the road, the error light went off and stayed off. Jerry
drolds1 Report post Posted May 31, 2010 Jerry, if the warning went off and stays off, there's no need for concern. You also don't need worry about it being unsafe to drive with the message on. You won't harm anything. However, Advancetrac will be inoperative. If it happens with any frequency, take it in for service. A trouble code should be stored for diagnostic purposes. xmech2k Report post Posted May 31, 2010 I've bumped a curb twice and that happened. I just turned it back on with the button.

Same thing happened to me just last week. I tried to submit a Vehicle Health Report before the error disappeared. I was also in a carwash with an underbody wash. I guess it's no big deal, since the error did not stay on.

Dacia Report post Posted February 12, 2015 I made a u-turn today and my service advancetrac came on and the light with the car and squiggly lines showed up. Should I be concerned?

Hi Darcia, Has this concern returned since your post? If so, have you spoken to your dealer? Meagan
