Looks like a piece of rice now.

YUP, ricer.........

Just need some decals. Maybe each decal will add 2 extra MPG on the car....

OK, just messin' around, FT Lewis... car enthusiasts tend to personalize their cars and I salute you for what you did. I'm just so happy with my FFH, I'm just happy keeping it looking clean and new. That's about all I want to accomplish. ------ and praying for flat lands so I can hypermile a bit.

They sell the precut vinyl tint that looks a lot better than the VHT Nightshades...Doesn't crack or peel either. Doesn't make them black either. At least with a black car it looks ok, but mine's Silver and would like like crap with the VHT.

Wish someone would please explain to me why this is cool. The way I see it, the lens darkening clearly reduces the intensity of all the bulbs in each of the assembly units.

Aren't you worried about getting rear-ended because drivers of following vehicles didn't notice you, especially at night nor had the slightest clue you were braking and/or signaling? Additionally, why would you not want all the white light you can get back there when you're backing up? Go figure . . .

Some guys just don't like the clear chrome tail lights. I didn't care for them too much until I trimmed them out. Now, I love them.

It is hard enough backing up with tinted windows, let alone tail lights. I use the side mirror backing down my driveway.

I don't see any chrome on the lights on the back of the black 2010 above?

I personally like blacked out tail lights - Remember they started with the Mustang and Camaro's of the 80's not Rice. BUT you WILL GET TICKETED. Now you're a target and God forbid you drink a few Mickey's before you drive - I would remove it ASAP

That is why on the packages of the lens covers and such has to state. Not D.O.T. approved! Not for on Highway use. For off road and show only. But that is what the fine print says if you take the time to read it.

Why is that?

It's to give the others around you an chance to know what you are doing!

As far as I am concerned it tells me a person that does this could careless about others around them and are not very considerate and probably don't use their turn signals and don't pay much attention to the lines on the road because they think they are just there to look pretty and just for decoration.

One thing for sure If I was a LEO I would pop every vehicle I saw with such done to it.

Can you tell I'm sick and tired of idiots that cover their lights so you can't see them, Install super bright lighting systems then don't have them aimed properly. I just pretty tired of stupidity!

If you don't like your lights TUFF! Your not driving a show car! If you are showing it fine put them on during the show but just give others half a chance not to run over you or hurt somebody! We have to live together it not always about you! Generally speaking!

I like them tinted,NOT BLACKED OUT,The fusion is such a popular car (because its such a good car) so I customize mine anyway I can to make it MY OWN and stand out, I think bonder45s looks PERFECT and thats the first Ive seen it on a 2010 And It looks WAAY better than stock, the one thing I hate most about the 2010 is the tail lights,Not that they are bad lookin they are just older looking and avrage looking compared to 06-09s

but if I where you Id tint the third brake light to and cops are going to mess with you if there going to mess with you, beleave me I know stupid :censored: oh well I guess harassing people about little thing like that is a safer way to earn a living being a cop than catching real criminals I just wish they would pick on someone else allready

I like the 2010 tail lights. I like the 06-09 tail lights too. I did not like the white outline on the 06-09 so I trimmed them out with silver 1/4 pinstripe.

Actually it makes a big but, subtle difference. The stock lamp appears to have a "white" outline. I just did the outer edge of the light fixture with 1/4" silver pinstriping tape.
