I wanted to bring mine in @ 5K intervals for oil changes and they told me to wait until 10K. Go figure.

Thanks for the info. the owners guide is pretty clear. Car is going back to the dealer anyway, so they can figure it out. I will have to make a mental note for them to check the fill level everytime I get the oil changed now. Thank god for these forums. I was really starting to freak out after that happenend.

I just discovered the same thing myself today. First time I have had to "puch it" and the smoke billowed out. I got to another stretch of raod and punched it again and the same thing happened. The second time the check engine light came on. It went off on it's own. I checked the dip stock and eitehr it is too full to tell on I just dont know how to check the oil. The dip stick is hard to read. I will call the dealership tomorrow.

I' m not falling for that old trick this time. I did it once with my Infiniti G. You really need to wait a few years to make it worth you while.

What is interesting about this is that when I picked up my new FFH from the dealer, the rubber floor mats were installed on top of the carpeted ones. The dealer did it! I saw that and thought to myself, that can't be safe, and removed them before I left the lot. Makes you wonder how many folks leave them like that. Would be great testimony in court.

Got in my car this morning started drving and noticed that something wasn't working right with hte nave system. There was no directional arrow and the map was frozen on some odd part of the state. All of my address favorites were grayed out and using sync to input an address didn't work either. I'm stumped on this one. The system was working fine the last time I used the car. It goes to the shop tomorrow. This is only the 2nd time I have had to car in the shop for a warranty issue. the first time was a speedo that quit working. A software bug was the culprit on that one. Anyone with nav have a similar issue?

I was in by 8AM and out at 8:30AM. The servcie writer said when I showed him the letter "oh an easy one. I 'll be back to get you in a bit.".

I use the remote to lock and unlick the doors. Why push buttons?

Well... I'm getting mixed reveiws so far. The emplem can't be lowered. Two reasons. The mesh grille has a hole cut out for it. 2) there is a plastic grille mounting panel (factory) that the emblem attatches too. When I had the car in the shop all of the techs were admiring it. Car gets a lots of buzz where ever it goes. First question always is, what kid of MPG's are you getting? Second question is do I like it?

GReetings, I got the E&G mesh grille installed on my FFH today. Install went smooth,. When they pulled my car out from the shop I was blown away. It looks so much better with the new grille. I just ordered the grille set for my plat white FFH. Will get installed next week. $350 for the parts and $110 to install. K

Sales Tax on a new car purchase is deductable this year also depending on your income level. this is a stimulus measure and will not be in place forever.

I have the bi-directional model and it works great. I can be in the gym where I work out and hit the button from inside the locker room and my car is probably 300 to 400 ft away and it works everytime. I use it in hte summer and when its cold. I am confident it will go over 1000ft. in open spaces. So far it hase never not worked.

I need to get aftermarket wiper blades for my fusion hybrid. The ones that came with the car streak something terrible. I am going to go with the Rain-X Latitude, but need to know if they are the same sizes as the 2009 Fusion. Does anyone know? Thanks, Kirkster

only the speedo wasn't working..

Driving home on Friday afternoon I noticed that the speedometer wasn't working. All of the other gauges were working fine. I left work early for the holiday and now I have to deal with a car issue :rant: Called my Ford dealer via SYNC and asked if I could swing by. No problem they said. They had the car for less than an hour and the problem was fixed. They had to reprogram the computer per TSB 09 13 09. The service guy said a glitch in the software program was casuing the problem. Off I went a happy camper. Kirkster

I told him about the glue and he said it wasn't compatable with the tint they use. I think he was feeding me a line of crap. The dealer is the one who subbed this job out. I'm going after them.

I think the body side molding is personal preference. Some like it some don't. The FFH is the first car i have not had it on in quite some time. When I bought my '07 Infiniti G35x, it came without and I had the dealer add it. I still may get it on my Ford dedending on cost.
