  1. Handles great, even on a back road.
  2. Does anyone know where you can get a aftermarket hood? I see pictures of them but I can't find any.
  3. Your best bet is to use the plasti dip. I've used it on my fusion for my chrome grille.check my pics.
  4. No I didn't have to take the bumper off, but I would highly recommend to do it. I had a hell of a time by not doing it.
  5. No they were led. All I did to the tails was smoke vinyl the outer red part of the tails. I left the inner chromed look where he led lights are alone, but I am thinking of doing that part too. Thank you for commenting. If you want help or advice on something that you see I have done to my car, just ask. Also go check out my pics of my car in my gallery.
  6. Next spring I'm doing the 3rd kit and the 1.5 lowering springs to mine I can't wait. I don't like the stock car look either. Keep modding. Check out my pics too.
  7. U r right it was cheaply done. I paid forty dollars for the leds and did the work myself. I spliced the wires where needed, hid the wires in loom and mounted the leds with 3m tape, super glue and then vinyled over top of that to blend with my vinyled headlights (that I also did myself cheaply). I'm sure I could have taken it to a place to be done professionally and paid more money if that would have been better for you. Lol. But I think it looks like a nicely done overall headlights and taillights for the sixty total dollars I've invested into the heads and tails. Thanks for your time and comments.

I like those rims on your car looks good.
  9. my local Ford dealer told me my car should be fine to drive I just won't have the hill assist or advance Trac While error codes are shown.
  10. Have you have this problem again because I am experiencing this problem currently. I was wondering if I can do the hard reset myself and maybe that might fix my problem? my local Ford dealer cant get my car in until next Thursday. one week away, the following Saturday I'm supposed to drive 1 thousand miles to New Jersey from Michigan to visit my mom and sister and I'm hoping to have this problem resolved before then. last night when it first occurred I was on my way 360 miles north to St Ignace Michigan for a car show. I was halfway there and had to turn around to come back! I wasted a call in from work, safety day from work, (which I cannot cancel, I get one a year) also $150 on my hotel room that i was supposed to stay in last night that was already paid for. needless to say this has been an expensive endeavor so far and it's not over.
  11. Maybe I will wire mine that way. Where did u splice into that circuit at? Mine are spliced into the parking lights right now. Right at the headlight.
  12. what exactly happens when it is doing it? im just curious as i have had mine for about 11,000 miles so far and havent really noticed anything unusual.
  13. What kind of relay? Could I just run /splice the power cord to the 12 volt socket power straight to the amp or will that not work? I had the power coming off the battery to the cap then to the amp before. My signal converter was on a toggle switch, and the amp shuts off with the radio. The cap was the only thing that was m we still "on". The only other thing I can think is the amp was drawing more current than the battery was receiving. Is that right and by connecting to the 12 volt socket power will that solve the problems. Thanks
  14. also one more question when my battery went dead luckily my car was unlocked. how would i have got in short of breaking a window? the only way to get in the car is the auto unlock auto trunk release and the security numbers on the door. all of which do not work if the battery is dead. i had to crawl thru the back seat to get the manual trunk release to jump start the car. also is there somewhere to jump start the car under the hood?
  15. so basically what you are saying is the lightning cap i installed is what ran the battery dead, because it always draws power from the battery to keep itself charged? so theoretically if i take the cap out and only run the amp which will shut off with the radio, and the signal converter (cant remember the actual name of it) which i have on a toggle switch. i should be fine right? i wouldnt be drawing any current off the battery. thank you for helping me helping someone else, lol. i didnt know they didnt have an altenator.
  16. Yes it is built In it says in the owners manual I think every. 15000 miles it does it automatically. It says u may notice a slight decrease in mpgs for awhile until its done.
  17. Funny you should ask as I had done this last year. Short. Answer is no there is no outputs, yes you have to splice into stock wire harness to add a signal converter to make your sound into a signal your amp can read. I bought one for a $100. I hooked everything up no problems till about a month later when my wife told me the car wouldn't start. Turns out the battery was dead. The only thing I can think of is the car being a hybrid doesn't run the alternator all the time to keep the battery charged to run the amp (I even had a farad cap or aka a lighting cap). I'm sure u could probably get another battery like. A optima yellow top and run them in a series and it might b fine. I just took my sub and amp out (left wiring) until I get the stones and ambition to try it out. Hope this post helps u. O and man it sounded good!! Was running a solo baric kicker 12 1200watt sub with a pioneer class d 1000 watt amp the two match up perfect at their rms wattage.
  18. Sorry I'm new here. The welcome forum says to post pics n stuff. U. Have pics of urs?
  19. $40 Led style headlight strips added to my lights, what do u think?
