    MPG Happy Talk

Congrats to a late victory :) That's almost hard to believe but you definitely have a higher avg. MPH about 42 for this tank. I just filled up this morning and my avg. MPH was 36 that alone makes quite the difference for a 47.1 MPG tank.
  2. No offense to the guys here but he is an old man. I can't explain why it's inconvenient if after my car breaks down, it's being picked up and I'm left with a loaner car. In my book that's the ultimate convenience. Compare to me being able to get my car in for service is a 1 hr process and my wife driving the second car.
  3. That bar isn't that high so your expectations should be right on. I wouldn't notice any improvements with the "two upgrades" since I don't have NAV there is no reason to request/ work on getting the 3.8 update. That's just my take on md13ffhguy's nice summary of changes. Thank you.
  4. Now I wanna know. Is it worth it? Any important improvements besides "Easier entry of destinations for China"
  5. Exactly! (and make a lot of people rich in the process) ;)
  6. Same here I can also reproduce this almost at will. It's definitely a strange feeling but it's for sure not accelerating its "just" cutting the regen which makes it feel like it. It's much easier when you have different road surfaces (like Murphy's example) or when the road is wet. And yes this shouldn't happen and Ford will come up with a fix.
  7. That's my kinda statement not quite that long but still. I don't even have my antenna whip on my car anymore. My wife's Explorer didn't have one so she got mine. Whenever I'm driving anywhere but especially to / from work I absolutely hate two things radio talk and commercials. I have enough music on my USB stick and my phone that I don't have to listen to a song twice for a very long drive. (Almost to FL and back)
  8. It's for sure better handling than the wrong driver in a Mustang GT crawling down the exit ramp / curve the other day. ;) And yes sorry welcome to the forum " itsffh2015 " I'm pretty you will enough information here to head spin for a while if reading the manual hasn't accomplished that already. :)
  9. Any chance you measure with a voltmeter if any voltage reached the heating element. If there is nothing it might be the relay (just guessing here) for the seat heater has gone bad.
  10. You are more then welcome to stick around even if you have the FFE. Most parts are identical anyway. :)
  11. Hopefully there will be a fix for this issue soon! I had one pretty bad one the other day and it definitely gets your adrenaline going for the very second it happens.
  12. Funny that the wheels the praise for being special for the Vignale I actually have on my FFH. I feel special ;)
  13. Two very true statements except that I don't think you need be super skilled to swap tires. Well I should say that since the "experts" damaged the rim when they used the impact wrench. Not worth the free wheel swap if you ask me but most places charge between $10-$20.
  14. Best advice I can give you ( besides buying an FFH ;) ) is to spend an extra grand and treat yourself to a set of winter tires. The FFH handles like any other front wheel sedan but the tires make all the difference. Once the tires have the right traction it's really hard to get this car into an unexpected slide.
  15. I think you are talking about a remote start!? I have never heard of "Quick Stop" I'm not even sure what this could be useful for. That being said the way you wanna use it makes no sense in a hybrid since the engine won't run anyway once you are parked.
  16. Good for you! I get notifications whenever there is card transactions without a card being present on my phone and email so I could react quickly. I have caught my wife a few times ;) but knock wood no bad guys.
  17. Almost looks something / someone rammed into the side of the panel without leaving a mark or paint chip in the center of the "spider web".
  18. While you are correct there are many other things drivers do while "driving" which for some result in driving 10x as far without looking at the road. Just today I had a guy behind me that was on the phone while drinking coffee as well as looking at some document and all of of this without being buckled up.
  19. Do the windows roll up and down from inside the car with one touch? The windows should open/close without holding the button. If not you might need to restore the one touch up/down feature.
  20. While I agree with the lane space it's definitely something you get used to. It's just that there is so much space around here that you perception of road/lane space is totally obscured. I recently went to Boston for the first time and it reminded me of the old European cities. Very narrow streets and a maze of them.
  21. Nice sounds like a good deal, I mean it should if you "love this car". ;) Congrats on your new ride!
  22. He sure is! I also like the San Francisco video with the I believe rallye Ford Focus. There's a really cool scene where he is airborne around a turn.
  23. Your explanation sounds reasonable just because Sam has a really hard understanding voice commands for example when you have the windows open. In case I have my windows even just 10% she either doesn't understand at all or understands something totally different.
