I PM'ed you my vin. I rather doubt that I have a unique build though. How weird would that be?
-
Weird. My POI nearby works just fine. Just used it over my lunch break to take me to the closest Jack in the Box. I didn't know that there was a problem with that.

Umm Wut? I have a Job 2 '14 HyTi and I have Climate controle as an option on my right dash screen. Unlike some of the others here I use it alot.

Is Medium Soft Ceramic not popular?
Toz replied to DirectorMan's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
Well not that helps you too much, but I have them and really love them. They are pretty light. More of a soft cream color. But the contrast between the black Dash and MSC door inserts is really striking, everyone says that it adds an extra feel of luxury to the car. Also, so far they have not been hard to keep clean, but I have only had the car for 4 months so far. -
Daytime Running lights?
Toz replied to Ric's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
I think that this may have been covered before, but when I use my blinker the DRL on the blinker side turns off. When the headlights are in the "on" position this does not happen. I guess it keeps the DRL's from washing out the blilnker in the daylight? -
2014 non DRL hid/led
Toz replied to bonzman17's topic in Electrical, Gauges, Instruments, Lighting, Rear View Mirror
I am really hopping that a company will make a nice led/HID kit with instructions and parts. Lots of people have added HID's, but their results have varied. I just would like a kit that has every thing I need to make the conversion amd have it work right the first time. -
whats wrong with 38.7? That is where I am at now. I get about 36 on the morning commute when it's below freezing and about 42 when it's warmer on the drive home. Once when we had a day in the high 50's I got 47 MPG. I expect when the weather warms up I will be able to get over 40 per tank, and that will be just fine.

I have to wonder if the fan is for moving seat air or if it is for a peltier cooler/heater heatsink? I can just hear the fan running when the seat heater/cooler is running. I don't feel any air moving out of the seats at all just warm/cool. A peltier makes sense because you can run the seat cooler with out the A/C pump being on.

Can I add a subwoofer to a 2014 Titanium?
Toz replied to Gary Hall's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I know this is off topic, but I think they have that fixed now. I have sat in my car listing to the radio/usb/sat for over an hour with no battery saver message. We should do a compairsion to see if your battery and mine are the same. -
there is also the 3-M spray on invisabra. As soon as it gets warm enough here I am going to do that. It's in the $80 range.

Can I add a subwoofer to a 2014 Titanium?
Toz replied to Gary Hall's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
Subs can interfere with the Active noise cancellation system. Some members on the forum had to disconnect the ANC mikes so their subs would work. link here http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/7091-disable-active-noise-cancellation/ -
short drive, cold weather, new hybrid driver. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have gotten milage that low on short trips. If your milage continues to stay that low after a few hundred miles in warmer weather with longer trips, then I might get worried

Daytime Running lights?
Toz replied to Ric's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
I don't even know how this can be an issue. The headlights come on automatically when the windshield wipers detect enough rain to activate for more than a a few wipes. if you leave every thing in automatic it's almost impossible to not have the headlights on when you need them. when the rain stops the DLR's come back on. Looks like Ford already has any liability issues taken care of. So just give the customers what they want, and at least offer the option of having DLR's. BTW if you are ever in eastern Washington state, Jess Ford can activate DLR's -
I bought these from the CD3 websight. Really like how they work. Wish they had come standard.

Problem - Lane assist feature disappeared
Toz replied to swingdj's topic in Advanced Driver Assistance Technologies
and that's one of the main reasons I held out for the heated steering wheel. I hate driving with gloves on in any car. Operating the controls in the Fusion that are already a little finicky with just your fingers, with gloves on would probably make my blood pressure rise. -

Daytime Running lights?
Toz replied to Ric's topic in Glass, Headlights, Fog lamps, Lenses & Window Tint
I just don't understand how some dealers are STILL having issues with this. I wonder if some of the dealers techs have outdated software for their Ford laptops? Glad my dealer was one of the ones that knew how to do it with no hassle. -
weather bad....traction control "feature"?
Toz replied to robster's topic in Lounge - Fusion Hybrid Talk
I think you will find that trying to go up an icy hill with traction control off will be much worse then with it on. If you are actually stuck, then it is time to think about turning off the traction control. The traction control gives you fake posi-trac using the abs system. With out it on all of the power will go to the spinning wheel and you will go no where. -
So far, for me, very nicely padded. The longest trip I have taken so far has only been a couple of hours long, but I was quite comfortable with no numb butt.
-
We took our test drive in a regular 13 2.0 Ti. But it was so long ago that I don't remember any difference.
-
I have the heated/cooled seats, but I couldn't tell you the difference between them and the regular Ti seats. I find them to be well bolstered and firm. Very nice so far. I never spent any amout of time in a SE so I don't have a good compairson.

Calling all HyTis and MKZhs with Remote Start
Toz replied to SteveB_TX's topic in Alarms, Keys & Remote Start
well I tried it out on my 14. Same results. Starts after remote start without stepping on the brake.
