yes I got my rail car # from the dealer. He gave me copy of the visibility report. Hope you can get yours, it's been kind of fun tracking it on the rail. I have been plotting the progress on Google earth.

Seems like a lot of dealers will charge a minimum of one hour labor, even if it only takes 10 min. However if I just bought a 30K+ car from a dealer I would hope that they could comp me a few minutes of Tech time, just for happy customer factor

While I personally really like the look of MFT, from what most reviewers have said the Non-MFT Fusions are easier to use. Don't you think you would miss the real buttons?

Are the standard SE speakers really not that good? I only ever test drove a Ti so I never had a chance to listen to an SE

GaaH! :gaah: Still no real photos of Medium Soft Ceramic! It has been a few weeks, shouldn't at least one or two be in a dealers lot/owners driveway by now? I mean REALLY? there must have been MANY of these cars built and Ford can't even show us ONE picture? I am beginning to think that maybe the color is a disaster and Ford is afraid to show it to us. Yes, yes I know I will see it in a few weeks when I get my car....

I love these one week reviews. It's great hearing from new owners when all of the tech is still new and fun. As for the touch buttions, even though they might be a pain somtimes, I am still really glad that I am getting a Fusion before Ford goes back to buttons. If the Dash looks anything like what the S/SE with out the Touch system, I don't want buttons back. Just looks messy/busy/old. Don't like it. One of the reasons that I am getting a Fusion with MFT is the Dash and controls feel like car built in 21century. Clean lines, no clutter. Might not be as practical as real buttons, but at least this one time I think I can live with form before function (and yes I am aware that I might end up eating these words after I have lived with the touch buttons for some time).

After reading these forums for quite some time now and seeing many of these type of posts, one of the best bits of advice I have seen is "Give it some time" Last year we saw lot of people getting their first Hybrid just as winter was starting and having LOTS of heartburn over their gas mileage. Between the learning curve of a Hybrid and winter temps/fuel blend there were lots of disappointed new owners. However by spring, most all of them were reporting MUCH better mileage and satisfaction. So just give it a little bit of time, enjoy your new car and try some of the great driving tips to be found on the Hybrid forum :)

Yea, it seems to be sort of a crap shoot. Some people get one or more coupons on their first try, some never get any. (at least not before they buy their car)

I asked for the coupon using my name, my wife's name and my kids. My oldest son actually got the coupon. The Ford dealer said that as long as they lived in the same household that the coupon would be good. (not sure if Dogs/Cats would work)

I all ways am little suspicious of the Fusion order guide. Just cuz it's listed doesn't mean it will make to the final production car. I.E. the 13 and 14 Duel exhaust and the 13 sport peddles for the HyTi. Also the leather shift knobs, but at least that one was fixed.
