  1. https://www.4dtech.com/13-16-ford-fusion-4-to-8-touchscreen-conversion-w-sync-3/
  2. Yeah, I read that a few months ago,the whole process is kinda, out of my wheel house
  3. I bought the upgrade from 4DTECH. Because I commute in LA, and really wanted Android Auto, it was pricey, but worth it to me. Super easy to install, just follow the video. The only thing that doesn't work right is parallel park assist but they warned me of this ahead of time. Other than that no major issues. The only other issue I had was related to Android Auto, the Google Pixel and the USB3 cable length, once I switched to a really short cable, I haven't had any issues. As a side note, upgrading to Sync 3 fixed the bug where the ambient lighting color would revert back to the default color.
  4. If the Fusion sells so bad, why do I see them everywhere?
  5. I've been using My Link in a Camaro rental and it is terrible. The Bluetooth is really spotty, and the buttons are a mess and small targets to hit. Driving this thing makes me appreciate my Fusion so much more.
  6. My car says 37.8 fuelly says 36.7 I don't who to believe, I'm resigned that my commute and the terrain will never get out of that high 30's zone.
  7. Yeah, it's the new Taurus. New Fusion to look exactly like the current Fusions externally.
  8. It would be nice if I can just replace the whole unit with this one, but they'll probably make it so it won't interface with 2013/2014 fusions. Seeing the Pandora app on screen pissed me off. I wonder if it will support Google Auto as well?
  9. I like them a lot, no noticeable mpg loss, a little more stiff, but corners better. I have no regrets on these.
  10. 13 bags of 2cuft mulch, before I loaded it in, the lady at Lowes looked at my car and said, "really?", when I was done she said, "I'll be damned"
  11. never trust a man who can't be bothered to spring for the Titanium trim. :)
  12. I can see both sides of the argument, the answer is that it's just programming, and there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to choose this behavior or at the very least define what the default input is. Because I live in an area with lots of hills, and when it switches to radio it scares the crap out of me, because it's usually static and usually loud.
  13. Bluetooth doesn't have this problem, your audio is available as soon as you connect and usually picks up right where you left off. Save for the occaision where Pandora suddenly decides to fire up when you were listening to audible. But it never goes back to the radio.
