So, It was down to the Husky WeatherBeaters or these. I read quite a few reviews on these Maxpider style mats and they seem overall really positive. I'll post up some actual pictures and a review once I get them. I'll attach a picture below because I didn't see them posted here yet.

Two things, one positive, one negative. They look like they will cover more than the Husky. I have Husky and they dont have a lip at the rear like these do. The negative, provided of course the image is correct, the snap fittings to secure the liner to the car on the drivers side appears to be open, so liquid can leak around them, sort of defeats the purpose of having them. However if thats just an image glitch, and they are sealed, then they should be good liners.

I did go this route, should have them by next week and I will def post up pictures and a mini review.

You make good points. I'm not so worried about them being completely water tight as I don't normally carry too many liquids in the car, nor does it snow too much around here. I just wanted something a bit beefier than the thin stock mats, but not too bulky looking like the All Weather mats. These seem like a good compromise but we shalls see. If they don't work out, I'll go with the Husky's!

Let us know about the posts, some good pics of them when you get them. If they seal tight then its a good choice. The huskies cut off just before the rise in the floor for the seat and it gets pretty dirty there, plus they are warped at the rear so stuff gets down under the liner. The lip on these look like they will protect better.

Will have to check them out to see if they have something for my MKT cargo area. I would hate to spill fuel back there from my planes, would never get it out, its Castor Synthetic oil mixed with Methanol and Nitromethane. It gets gummy and gooey after the alcohol evaporates.

So, got these in from UPS yesterday and just slapped them in. Haven't driven the car yet with them, but I can tell you the fit is exactly spot on. I mean exactly, every countour is curved just right. They are very thin and on the bottom they have like thousands of tiny spike like fibers so I can tell these mats won't move a millimeter. The look of them is very nice in comparsion to a typical All Weather mat, but should provide just about the same protection and possibly improved durabilty. I'll post more once I have used them for awhile. Below are some pictures!

How well do they seal around the stubs to attach the driver's mat? If you poured water on the mat (like what happens with snow in winter) would any of the water seep through to the carpet underneath?

They would leak, it is not water tight. If you look closely in the drivers side picture you can see it. So, not quite the same protection as a sealed All Weather, but should be pretty close barring something spilled. If something does spill, not too much would get below. But, if somebody wanted a true sealed floor mat, I would'nt get these.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of them. I was leaning towards getting the berber mats from Quality Car Mats, but if you think that the MAXpiders are durable enough, I might go with them. My last driver's side mat had a divot in it that matched the heel of my shoe exactly.

I was looking at the berber ones from Quality as well. They are like $170 or so right? I decided to try the MAXpider ones from looks and reviews. Not that it means that much, but they did win automotive product of the year in 2012 at SEMA. I did drive with them last night. They don't move a fraction of an inch, fit great,and are thin so they don't look bulky. I don't have any long term durabily reports yet but they do *seem* like they will be. I'll keep this thread updated.

I would say more like rubber, and yes, your feet don't slide around at all. Think All Weather mat grip on your feet with thin profile like factory carpet. So, no bulk, but great protection.

I agree. These are now the leading candidates for replacing my stock mats.

I just received (Sep 2) MY 2015 FFH Titanium and had preordered these exact mats (front and rear) based on the info posted here and the pics. Installed them the day I brought the car home and very pleased with the fit and appearance.

 

I will wait and see how they handle a winter up here. But I don't anticipate a problem. The 'button holes" for securing on the driver side have a slight rise to them, so it appears it will take a fair bit of melt water to cause any leakage.

don't mean to bring up an old topic but anyone have any winter experience with these? been debating these or husky liners (similar price), the stock ones just are not cutting it.
