Eddie Sessum Report post Posted June 22, 2014 Anybody ever had to get one fixed? It looks like a smashed love bug at like 70mph but looking closer the paint its about 1cm long and its all the way thru the paint. (starting to rust) Untill today I thought it was a lovebug but looking closer whatever caught it left a light scratch on the top bar of the grill also (grill with a little rubbing you can barely see it unless you look for it). So any ideas would be great, it looks bad :\
GrySql Report post Posted June 22, 2014 Looking at the Dr. ColorChip website it has this to say about White Platinum Tricoat (UG) paint repair."This is a tri-coat pearl / 3-stage color, meaning it was painted with a base coat, pearl coat and tinted clear coat. There is not a single color formula that exactly matches. However, the paint you receive should allow for a very close color match and yield far better results than using regular touch-up paint." 1 hybridbear reacted to this
Howie411 Report post Posted June 26, 2014 Never heard of that Dr. Colorship before. Does it actually work? I watched the video and it looked impressive. Though I've watched videos for junk that doesn't work and it made it look impressive too. ha ha
