Just took delivery of my Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium with Equipment Group 600A. Traded in a 2012 VW Passat TDI SEL.

Congrats! How did you like your Passat Diesel? I almost bought one instead of the FFH, but decided I REALLY wanted the FFH.

Congrats on your new car. I was also wondering about the reasons for the switch. Before I saw the Fusion for the first time Passat TDI was my first choice for a long time.

I know I told this story once before, but what the hell, I'll tell it again!

When I placed my order for my FFH, there was a delay, and the dealer advised me it would be at least 4 additional weeks before I could take delivery. I got so mad, I went to the VW dealer and test drove the Passat TDI. I was actually quite impressed with the car, and almost bought it. But then I kept thinking that, although I'd have the satisfaction of walking away from the delayed delivery, after the additional 4 weeks, I'd have pangs of remorse every time I saw a FFH on the street. As it turned out, the total delay was only 1 week, so it all turned out for the best anyway. And I've never had a minute of regret since taking delivery of the FHH!

Thanks, the Passat TDI was great but like a tornado siren sounding I decided its time to run for cover to the FFH.
