I second this as corrective action needed, stinky A/C is not the way it's supposed to be. Mine is doing it now off and on now too.

I can verify this is not a one off issue too, Every so often I get a whiff of mold or some nasty smell from my system too. I dont use the AC as often as others, so when I do, there is a slight smell that goes away after a moment.

Those are all great options, I would like to add to this

Add seat heater buttons to the main panel, its annoying to have to flip through screens to adjust the seat heaters or turn them on or off when you have something else up on the screen. I dont remember if the SE had them or not, but the Ti model is only on the MFT.

Add just a little more steering wheel control on the right screen, like to be able to turn the radio on or off, or pause play music. Right now the only way to pause or play(not Mute), is through the MFT and you have to bring up the radio screen for this. (see above).

How soon we forget. The SE, besides on the MTF, has them on the panel.

Easy to forget when you go through 3 cars in a year! Gee wonder who did that.... The SE is just a bad memory now. :)

jeff_h, PM me your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info. I'll look and see what the status of these parts are. Ashley

Thanks Ashley - got a call from the regional manager this morning that she discussed the issue with the management at my dealer and they are making sure that the order was placed properly... I told her that yeah I know the supply system with suppliers and sub-suppliers is probably a complex one. However, the room for improvement I see is that the service advisor at my dealer said they ordered the parts and then I heard nothing again until two months later when *I* initiated a check on progress... and then another two months again when *I* initiated another check on progress. So that's what I am going to relay in person to the management at my dealer, that some periodic checks on the order should be done (which probably are) and relaying info to the customer that they haven't forgotten about him/her (which is not being done). Thanks!

Ashley,

I agree with some of the comments above about how you can pass along some of these ideas far more effectively than Ford Social. In the past some of us have used Ford Social to submit ideas. However, I have found the site to be cumbersome and a pain to use. I really hope that you can take some of these ideas and discussions and pass them along to the appropriate decision-makers at Ford. That is far more effective than the limited text allowed on Ford Social.

100% agreed on this too. You will get far better feedback through us on this forum, than through that goofy social site. Here we can have feedback fro you , while we give you feedback, there, its just a list of posts that we wont even know will be read.

Besides, you cant post pictures there, and if you look at the thread of the MFT screen, that would be a far better thing to send them, than could ever be described on the social site.

This is something where I would wonder what the dealers surveys look like. I wish Ford would make the ratings searchable online than maybe the dealerships would be much more inclined to get them up being there public instead of just acting like there one of the best.

Excellent point - I think many of us have had dealers that don't seem the most forthright about giving information and keeping the customer apprised through a retail order process... yet when delivery day finally comes they tell you how important it is for them to get the highest ratings in each category! There is already an independent site dealerrater.com that has user ratings entered, but seeing the ratings that buyers submit to Ford would be interesting to see.
