Have you inspired any sales?

I just inspired coworker to buy a FFH by letting a him drive my car! So it's not just me... the FFH is a great car!

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I've had three people say they were going to buy one but it hasn't happened yet. The problem I have it that my friends and family are either so liberal they wouldn't buy anything but a Prius or they are too conservative and say they'll never buy a hybrid. My goal is to change this general conservative mindset. You should have seen the looks I got from some friends when I said I'd purchased the Green Car of the Year.

Actually, I must admit that the person just claimed to want to buy one over the weekend. I'll report back on Monday.

I inspired a coworker to purchase an Avalon hybrid.... not sure if that counts or not. He really liked my FFH, but wanted a larger car. After riding in it, it's a great car, but the style and features of my HyTi are more to my liking than what's in his XLE Touring.

I choose to stay away from the avalon hybrid. It may give me buyers remorse and im more than happy with my MKZ right now lol

I wish I could've leased my Fusion. I really like the MKZ but the lincoln surcharge pushed it just out of range that I could afford right now. In 3 years I feel I could afford it.

Unfortunately I'm over 9k miles in under 5 months of owning my fusion, so leasing is pretty much out of the question because of the miles I drive.

You can end up getting good money back out of the car in 3 years. Unless gas prices plummit below $2 a gallon again you should be fine trading it in.

I were inspired by my friend he has the FFH before I did..

and I were inspired by this forum also as I registered my self here way before getting the car ...and I was really touched by the experience of every body here and how thoughtful every body is so I went ahead and got it ..happy with it so far ..no issues :)

True, I should note on here when we rented a car to goto memphis to pickup my dads beetle TDI we had the fusion hybrid. If it wouldnt have been for that I would have never even considered it as a option.

A near miss.

They ended up buying a Maxima, to replace their old Maxima.

But they still compliment our car when ever they see it.

Could of, Should have. I guess.

My parents never would have bought their C-Max Energi if it hadn't been for our great experience with the FFH and encouraging them to look at the Energi. They love it and are saving over $100/month paying for electricity in the C-Max versus what they were spending on gas before.

I don't know of anyone who bought a FFH because they saw mine, but everyone who rides in it just loves it.

I've had three people say they were going to buy one but it hasn't happened yet. I don't think people realize just how "green" the FFH is when comparing it to a Prius. Beyond just the hybrid thing, Ford as a company has been working very hard to build more environmentally responsible products. This includes fabrics made from recycled plastics to seat cushions made from soybeans to simply being easier to recycle.

Heck even the source of where cars are made has a huge impact on their cradle to grave carbon footprint. A hybrid built halfway around the globe starts off with a much larger carbon footprint than a car produced in the same hemisphere simply because of the fuel burned to transport it half way around the globe. In fact the transportation footprint on top of the extra footprint from manufacturing batteries can result in a larger lifetime carbon footprint for a car like the Prius than fuel efficient traditional ICE car built close by.

Really, this shouldn't be a liberal or conservative car. It is simply a fantastic family car that looks great, happens to be reasonably priced, and is really light on the wallet to drive. Who wants to waste money at the fuel pump? I personally loved the fact that I was able to drive from Saco Maine to Montreal Quebec Canada and back (~550mi round trip) on $35 in gas.

This is the message that Ford needs to make in their commercials!

I have a friend who is going to (at least he's saying this now) buy a FFH next summer. The problem is, he is in love with my Bordeaux (as I am) and it's no longer offered. He'll either be hunting for some time or having to settle for his second favorite color.

My car sits in a parking lot at the National Institutes of Health in a fairly big area. Judging by some of the looks of passers walking by, I think that I may have helped Ford out.

When I am choosing where to park, the spot that gives my FFH the greatest exposure is the one I pick, even if it means I have to walk a little further.

At the train museum where I volunteer there is another member who is also a hybrid fan. He and his wife have owned both first & second generation Camry Hybrids and Highlander Hybrids. Their two first generation cars are still in the family being used by their adult children now.

He currently drives a 2012 TCH and asked me lots of questions about the FFH. He said the best tank MPG he gets in the TCH is about 45 MPG in the summer and about 35 MPG in the winter. I told him I had a number of 55 MPG tanks this summer and how we got 44 MPG on each of our two cross-country road trips. He was very impressed. That was Friday.

Then, Saturday, I parked at the grocery store and had an older couple come up to me and ask about the FFH. They currently drive an Infiniti sedan and are looking at getting a Fusion to replace it. They both love the looks of the Fusion and asked about the gas mileage in the hybrid and how it drives. They said they're planning to go test drive a Fusion and hopefully they'll end up with a FFH!

We didn't inspire a Fusion Hybrid sale, but we did inspire a Fusion sale. Some friends of ours needed a new car when their car died and wasn't worth fixing. They really liked our Fusion and ended up getting a brand new Fusion SE. MSRP $24,270, price before TTL $18,970. They got an incredible deal.

It was also lots of fun for me to tag along throughout the process to help out by translating for them.

Here's Domingo with his new car last night, about to drive it home for the first time.

This forum and all the knowledgable/helpful members pushed me (okay, inspired me) to take the plunge. I ordered a 2015 Fusion S Hybrid yesterday. I'm hoping that you early adopters have ironed out all the bugs in this car. I sure don't want another bad experience like my 2012 Ford Focus.

I dont know if it qualifies, but when I had the BD fiasco, I ordered a non hybrid Titanium, exactly like the HyTi I have now. It sold hours after the truck left. The person who bought it was looking for a base model, but fell in love with the car.

You've sure done your homework, I hope your car is a winner!
