LadyFFHT13 Report post Posted October 4, 2013 hello - I've had my Fusion Hybrid for a little over a month. Happy with my decision, though I had a bit of a buyers remorse the first week. I was initially looking at the plugin but went for the hybrid based on cost and my driving habits blah blah blah. I'm a Toyota  girl at heart and swore I'd never own a Ford, but what do you know, things change. 3 hybridbear, jeffo65 and jeff_h reacted to this

LadyFFHT13 Report post Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) I wanted an adult sexy car. lol I didn't think that much of the Prius, and wasn't feeling the Camary. If I could afford it, I probably would have checked out the Lexus line up. My old car ('95 Toyota Celica w/ 276k miles) was showing signs of a slow death and I needed a car sooner than I wanted. My friend has a Fusion Energi, and I fell in love with it. I really didn't drive any other hybrid cars to compare - why, because when I want something I have to have it (bad). I test drove only 3 other cars (Subaru Crosstrek, Chevy Volt, Mazda 6 [my second choice]) all different from one another, but I had my mind set on the plugin before I was even shopping around and when I couldn't have the plugin based on cost, I went for the Hybrid. Probably why the buyers remorse in the first week. I'm happy though. I get compliments on the car left and right; and Alice, as I call her, just looks so damn sexy. dalesky Report post Posted October 5, 2013 Ah, you didn't think the Prius was attractive? Some members here can't even say the name, or spell it online. Driving one is kind of a surprise as it's so awful.I tried the Camry hybrid a couple of times and just didn't find the hybrid integration to be as good as the Fusion. Not to mention the looks of the Fusion, and the tech!Today I got 48.3 mpg, on a rather long run back and forth to the library on a very busy road. Never got over 50 MPH. Yesterday I had a short run of 58 mpg. Welcome to the Forum, and continued luck with Alice. 2 hybridbear and corncobs reacted to this
