Door lock button lights

I have a rattling coming from this little red light door lock area when going over a bumpy area. Anyone else? It is quite annoying for a brand new car.

We haven't been able to pinpoint it exactly yet but it happens on certain bumpy roads at certain speeds or when certain songs are playing at certain volumes. Both passenger and driver door. It happened today during a hard acceleration (3.5 or 4 bars) around 60 mph

Maybe having the sub-woofer cranked to level eleven is vibrating stuff loose. :rockon: ;)

My passenger door buzzes occasionally, but wouldn't you know it, after reporting it to the dealer a week before dropping it off, it hasn't done it since. Still waiting to hear when I can get the car back, been 4 days now(of course 2 were weekend), but when I do get it back I Hope it looks like it wasn't repainted.

The door panels are made kinda crappy. If you push hard on the plastic below the light showing that the door is locked it will stop for a little bit than come back.

My passenger door vibrates directly behind the handle. There's a black plastic piece back there that rattles on bumps and sometimes to music. Someone on this forum once posted a TSB for this but I'm having trouble finding it. I just haven't gotten around to getting the fix done myself. I might just do it without dealer assistance anyways, I used to think if I did these things I would just break more things, but the dealer does that anyways.

Anybody who has any TSBs related to buzzing/rattling/noises, please post them. I have a slight

noise under acceleration that I can't determine the source, an now will check the locations mentioned

here to see if they make any sense.

 

It's odd, but considering how much "stuff" is in that car, should be alot worse. My 2010 FFH had no

noises at all...I kept waiting for it to start rattling, but never happened. Don't think I'll be that lucky with

the 2013 FFH.

Reference the door rattle, TSB 13-5-3 titled INTERIOR DOOR PANEL RATTLE - ROUGH ROAD SURFACES. The cure is double sided tape behind the handle insert. The tabs that hold the insert in are easily broken. Get the dealer to do it. Then when they break them, they replace them for free - just like the TSB states.

Liters per 100km????? Why not miles per liter?

L/100km is the standard in Canada, eh. I'm just too lazy to convert the volumes and distances before I enter them. All distances up here have been in kilometers for 35 years or more

The spelling is the difference between UK English - which is still predominant except in texting, lol, and American English.

Just type in x litres/100km in Google search bar and it comes up mpg- US gallons.

My fuelly was around 42mpg (US) until I drove to southern WA with 2 bikes on a rack at 90F in the mountains with the old PCM. 8% grades really kill it.

Now, with reasonable temps and lower speeds and our normal grades, I am seeing much higher mpg per trip.

Oh great! Let's do a mashup of systems of measure.

 

L/100km is also the standard for measuring fuel economy in Europe. It is the U.S. who are the odd balls when it comes to what system of measure is used.
