acdii Report post Posted March 8, 2013 If your build date was in the same week as mine, please PM me the VIN. When I talk to the Ford CSM I will bring them up, and maybe, just maybe be able to get something rolling on them. Anything is worth a shot at this point. 1 HenryVIII reacted to this

acdii Report post Posted March 9, 2013 If I didnt like the car so much, it would have been gone long ago, and I am pretty sure those like me also like their cars enough to try to get it resolved. Anything I can do to help.

ride_ski Report post Posted March 10, 2013 I need to check my build date (the ETIS site is down right now as it doesn't recgnize my VIN), but I think I may be in the range. I have been watching these threads with interest because I have not been getting the MPG I had hoped for, but really like the car otherwise.
acdii Report post Posted March 11, 2013 acdii what was your build date11-1-12 last week of October seems to be the week most of us having issues have had a car built.

What I would be more curious to see is a car made the same week that actually did get OK MPG.Mine was built late the week before, 12/7/12. I am satisfied with my mpg so far. 40.9 lifetime (still climbing slowly, current tank getting 45 mpg), 2650 total miles.
acdii Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Actually I meant the same week mine was built, 10/29-11/3 I know I confuse myself even.
Jdking1952 Report post Posted March 12, 2013 12-14-12 Build date, 1400 miles and I am sitting at 32.4 MPG. I called Ford and they said mileage will improve after the 6,000 mile "break in" period. acdii Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Wait, when you hit 6K, and still dont see an improvement, they will then tell you, Oh we meant 10K break in. And I aint justakiddn.
MXGOLF Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Great someone with the same build time with crappy mileage. It seems like there is no rhyme nor reason to when and where there's good ones and bad ones. It would be great if Ford could figure this out. LOL.

jgilliam1955 Report post Posted March 14, 2013 With your poor gas mileage would I be better off buying a gas Ford Fusion?
acdii Report post Posted March 14, 2013 See my response in the other thread you posted. My answer is no. 35 is still far better than 23.
brcd131 Report post Posted March 15, 2013 acdii, my build date is 10/30/12 and the VIN is 3FA6P0LUXDR156482. Thanks.
hybridbear Report post Posted March 20, 2013 I'm glad someone started compiling these. I had just thought this morning that I should start a topic to gather this info for Ford. Since it appears that someone at Ford does pay attention to what is going on here gathering all the data will make it easier for them to find the issues. I wish all of you with poor mileage the best and hope that Ford will soon figure out what happened to the cars built at the end of October/beginning of November 2 acdii and B25Nut reacted to this

brcd131 Report post Posted March 28, 2013 My current guess is the battery pack. I spent 4000 miles in less than 2 weeks driving the car watching the gauges, and it seemed that the battery charge/discharge thing was not as efficient as it should be. Just guessing based on observations.
