Riggo Report post Posted March 12, 2013 I saw a few in the last couple days. One thing struck me as odd. Both of them I saw at twilight with their lights on. One of the cars tail lights were lit up around the edge of the light, like a halo. The other cars tail lights were only lit in the center of the light, inside the halo. Neither of them were braking as they were flying down the highway. Is there a difference in how the lights glow with different trim?? Maybe I was just seeing things. HenryVIII Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Titanium trim models will have the better looking tail lights at night. I believe the halo around the tail lights 1 elle reacted to this
elle Report post Posted March 12, 2013 This is weird but it seems to as if Silver and the Grey color seem a little understated in the Fusions. Whites, black, reds and blues seem to make the car stand out more. At least in my eyes. Not to say that silver and gray are bad colors at all. But they seem to make the car blend in more with the rest of surrounding traffic. Agree with the silver and gray. It's not to my taste, anyway, though I know others here love theirs in those colors. But they do seem understated a bit, to me.
elle Report post Posted March 12, 2013 I almost collided with a gray one that jumped out in front of me while I was on my way home from work yesterday (that was after I had posted about the silver one). So, yes, they are starting to show up more and more. Saw a gray one on Thursday in the same general area as the one that jumped in front of me. Gave him a scowling look, but he was too far away to notice. I guess I already have a Fusion-enemy. Or is it a Fusenemy?

ConFusioned Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Since December 2012 I've only seen two 2013 Ford Fusions on the road in California and today is March 12, 2013. They are nice looking cars and I expected to see more.
mokee Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Anybody out there see or have Ice Storm Metallic or Dune interior?
hermans Report post Posted March 12, 2013 My wife and I looked at an Ice Blue w/Dune and we didn't like it. Looks nothing like the promo pics. We chose the Bordeaux w/dune. I wish they made it with the Frost color that comes on the Escapes. Might have bought that.
HenryVIII Report post Posted March 12, 2013 Anybody out there see or have Ice Storm Metallic or Dune interior? I have seen them and I must say, if you want to own a fusion that states, "It's a Hybrid" the Ice Storm Metallic color does it very well and very elegantly. Pair it with the 18" Luxury SE silver wheels and be rewarded with a very nice and elegant looking car! I have seen the Dune interior as well as my test drive vehicle was a Ruby Red w/Dune interior. I liked it.
elle Report post Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) Bordeaux w/dune. Good choice! I got a glimpse of an Ice Storm on the road once. Seemed a little greenish to my eye but I am always in those arguments about whether something is more green or blue :) I do have a dune interior, and I must say I love it, even though it wasn't want I thought I wanted. Now that I have it, I can't imagine the car with black. Edited March 13, 2013 by elle
terryb Report post Posted March 13, 2013 Yep, got the Ice storm loaded with dune interior and 18" lux. wheels etc.Lots of complements on the look of it.
B25Nut Report post Posted March 13, 2013 In the past week, I've more than doubled my Fusion sightings compared with the past four months. The lack of a Dune type interior on other cars eliminated them as canidates. If the Escape had a Dune leather interior option, it is very likely I would have purchased a Frosted Glass one and not waited for the Fusion. The Dune color makes the interior look bigger, and for me it is more calming. So far, not a bit of dirt or ware is showing. WHERE IS COACH! We miss you. storksb Report post Posted March 14, 2013 Went out to dinner this evening, pulled into the parking lot at Chilli's and there were two other 2013 FFH already there, left an hour later and they were both gone but there was yet another one. So in the space of an hour 4 FFH in the same parking lot. Getting popular here in NoVA.

HenryVIII Report post Posted March 14, 2013 Nooooooooooo! I don't want my car to be as common as a Camry. With the FFH that may happen. It'll take a while however. I still see Camry's like wildfire around here lol! almost as bad as my Corolla. :banghead:
acdii Report post Posted March 14, 2013 I'm noticing a LOT more of the 10-12 models now, more so than the Camry. Just this morning, there were 3 in a row going the same direction, one in front and one behind me, in my 2010. :) Still seeing maybe one or 2, and I think they are the same car. BatCat Report post Posted March 17, 2013 Saw my wife driving hers and one at the doctors parking lot. Upstate NY is sparse when it comes to Fusions. I checked Cars.com and there are zero 2013 FFH in the area for sale.
TX NRG Report post Posted March 17, 2013 While eating in a restaurant tonight, saw a White Platinum Hybrid SE at the Baskin Robbins next door. Wife calls it the 'Polar Bear' car, from the commercial where it flies and you see it coming at you in white with tinted glass. Looks like a Polar Bear face. Other than on the dealer lots, and driving on I-55 in central IL in early January, that's about the first FFH I recall seeing. This is off topic, but after dinner, took the family for dessert to a local ice cream shop, and parked all alone a ways out in the lot was a Red & White 1957 Corvette Convertible ! What a beauty. The kids thought that one was cool too.
ace8726872 Report post Posted March 23, 2013 I haven't seen any Ford Fusions on the road until today when I saw 3 during my evening commute. They were all Ingot Silver; two were regular Fusion SEs and one Fusion Hybrid SE. I waved at them but no return wave. :-( I didn't think the rear of Fusions were all that good looking, compared to the front but it actually looked pretty good.
