Thank you FusionTX for starting this thread. I’ve been thinking for the past month that this forum has become so large that it has become difficult (and very time consuming) for prospective FFH buyers to find the really important information they are looking for. This thread has become the best place for them to start.

We are starting to see a snowball effect. As each new owner checks in, they seem to confirm that Ford is producing one of the best vehicles ever made. Since most households are two car families, I can’t think of many (any?) reasons why the FFH shouldn’t be part of that mix: a van/crossover/truck + the FFH should fill all the needs of over 80% of American families.

The reviews posted here by the six owners are all right on. As GrySql said this week, owning the FFH has made driving a better, more enjoyable experience. For most people, you are using about half the gas you’re accustomed to, while driving in a car with good performance, great handling and exceptional looks. All this makes you a happier person, with the very quiet ride being the icing on the cake.

Last night I was a little late for an appointment after work and did the 20 mile trip at mostly 75-80 mph. I still got 37.8 mpg. In a recent report here from a new FFH owner, he stated how he loved the car but was only getting mid-40 mpg. If that is someone’s only complaint, the future for Ford is very bright.

I thought I would bump this thread.

 

I had heard by non ti owner that the sound was the "same" in both cars. I am glad it is not. I am a musician myself (sax, keyboards, harmonica, fiddle, autoharp) with a studio, and produce my own music on CD's . Music is very important to me and I look forward to hearing it on the Sony system.

If it is as good as the Sony in the 10 I will love it! I had the tunes cranked on the way home last night, great highs, just enough bass, clarity of the mids. No dealers around me have a Ti on the lot for me to listen to, but thats OK, someday soon one will be in my garage!

I couldn't be happier with my FFH. I live east of Cleveland and between the hills and the cold I'm not getting the 47mpg on a regular basis,but I am often in that range. I ordered it in Ice Storm and get lots of compliments on the color. My only complaint is that the passenger seat is too low and not adjustable. When my husband drives I can hardly see out!

Two things:

 

I'm 5'2 so I think I need to look into some sort of a cushion as suggested above. Thanks for the tip.

 

Also, I just noticed that my husband is shown as the Enthusiast on this board, however, it's MY car!!! I do let him drive it once in a while! I just wanted to clear up any confusion.

I guess I should have posted my 1600 mile experience post here but didn't see this thread when I did. Yeah mid 40's isn't 47 but the hills here in new england are the reason for it. I match mileage based on temp with a Prius owner frequently and we are very close to a mpg match.Summer temps will be the next challenge. I think his next car is gonna be a Fusion from what His remarks are about my mpg. I was driving a 2011 f250 to work so needless to say the mpg increase is a real relief on the walet. But to get better mpg than my 2012 focus with it being smaller and lighter is truly a show of attention in design and engineering. The 'MPG GAME' is a true statement. But its a comfortable game in style. Truly glad I bought this car. I've owned quite a few Fords since I started driving in 1968. And happy to say Ford hit this 1 right or better than anything of this catagory before. Style, comfort, and ergonomics are top shelf in this edition. IMHO.
