djminfll Report post Posted July 11, 2013 Phone - Messaging (if your phone supports it).It does, but I'm one of the throngs of people who are not too fond of MFT. It absolutely NEVER works for me. Even something as simple as "CLIMATE - set temperature to 75 degrees", it asks, "did you say set temperature to 85 degrees?" HUH??? I say "Call Dad Cell", it responds "Calling Dr. BIshop." HUH??? I think text messages and/or Instant Messages are beyond MFT capability!
corncobs Report post Posted July 11, 2013 Sending text messages is a whole different story; reading them isn't too bad as long the received text isn't too cryptic. Now commanding certain things I found less is more. Let the sync lady figure out that your dad might have multiple phone numbers it will ask you. The temp setting I just tried the other day and it asked me as well but at least she understood the correct temperature.

SteveB_TX Report post Posted July 11, 2013 There is a setting where you can set to not ask questions or at least no every time. I have my sync set to advanced. No 10 questions... Just a beep, and occasionally a confirmation question, although a much shorter version. :)

HoustonFirefox Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Here's mine: Love: 1) Driving a hybrid and looking a heckuva lot nicer than a Prius doing it.2) Spending 1.5x less in gas than my 2005 Ford Five Hundred Trade in3) Traffic (never thought I'd say that!)4) Ragging my office coworker with a Prius that I can go fast on EV and he can't! (updated PCM)5) The optional Baby Seal Skin seats... so smooth! Hate:1) Being a Conservative and getting ragged by my friends for driving a hybrid2) That my optional Baby Seal Skin seats were so expensive! ;)3) The dirty looks I get for driving a hybrid (hey! It's the gas prices buddy! Not the politics!) 1 dalesky reacted to this

It just makes no sense.I haven't had any negative reaction, but when I mention mileage I get a lot of positive responses. I usually don't talk about mileage unless someone asks me. I think a lot of folks don't think we should conserve. Try to find a builder in many states who only build energy efficient houses.
