Want to install HID

I have 2009 Fusion. I have always want to install HID in the headlamps and foglights, but I'm having some kind of problem. If I use the keyless button to open the door and the lights automatic comes on right? So I heard that it bad for HID because when you open the door and lights comes on and then start the car it goes off then use the light switch to turn them on. That's too many times to turn them on and off for the HID. I know this might sound not right. But I have 2003 F-150 and I installed HID in my headlamps and fog lights and have no problem at all. I know I could do the fog light with no problem but how can I turn that light off when I press the button on the keyless remote? Have to go to dealer and have them turn it off?

I turned off that feature on my 2010 using the process in the owners manual. Did you check in there?

I have checked that before. Mine is 2009 Fusion with SE model with sport package. So I don't think I can manual and change it.

Its in the owners manual on page 109 on how to turn it off. If not on 109 look for the "Perimeter Light" section. On mine its turn the key on and press unlock 3 times,turn the key off and press unlock 3 times , turn the key on and the horn chirps once to tell you its in program mode. then press unlock twice. It will chirp once when turning off the perimeter lighting feature, it will chirp and then honk when turning on the perimeter lighting. Then turn the key off.
