3.0 V6 Mileage

Recommended Posts

I am constantly getting about 27.5 combo driving, granted most of that is indeed highway and I can tell you I don't baby my car for mileage. Of course, thats the cars computer giving me that reading and only god knows how accuratre that is. Still, 27.5 is pretty good if you ask me, especially having all the power of the 2010 V6-3.0 as it does. Very happy with the engine performance and mileage. Some of that is due to the 6-speed tranny though, but as a package, it does rather well.

Just from experience, I put nothing less than 91 in my fusion, it seems to run perfect on that. of course 91 is obviously more expensive but if you have the money, worth it.

In what way?

The OM says the opposite

Fuel quality

If you are experiencing starting, rough idle or hesitation driveability

problems during a cold start, try a different brand of “Regular” unleaded

gasoline. Premium unleaded gasoline is not recommended for vehicles

designed to use “Regular” unleaded gasoline because it may cause these

problems to become more pronounced. If the problems persist, see your

authorized dealer.

Didn't really see any threads on V6 mileage so what is everyone getting?

With the 2010 3.0 V6 FWD, I'm getting 23.5 mpg with about 1/2 City/Highway driving.

This seems to be a little better than the estimated combined mpg that was on my sticker (22).

As of yesterday, my 2010 3.0 V6 AWD (according to the computer) got 28 mpg at 75 mph and 29 mph at 68mpg. I'm happy with that.
