Question about Splash Guards

Being that I live in Northeastern Ohio and winter is approaching, I have decided that I should purchase some Mudflaps (or Splash Guards) as Ford calls them.

 

I went on the Ford Accessories website and noticed that they are priced at $45.50 for a pair, so that's $91 dollars for all four. My question is for those of you that have purchased Splash Guards, how much did you pay for them and did you have the dealership install them or do it yourself? And, if you did it yourself, is it easy to do? Any advice, help or insight that you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

I think I paid more. :-( Yeah, the price is steep, but I wanted nice form fitting ones, and no one else was making them yet. Don't know if anyone is yet.

 

Installed myself. Super easy install. I think the hardest part was removing the rear wheels for access. You can just turn the front wheels. No drilling required.

 

They look super tiny, but they seem to do a pretty good job, but then I live in SoCal, so I haven't dealt with snow and slush and such.

That's about the price I paid back in February. Installation charge was about $15 for all four. They are small but do the job.
