Howie411 Report post Posted June 15, 2010 Was driving through a very nasty rain storm today going home, was on the interstate going about 40-50 mph, and I noticed multiple times the car almost slipping (steering wheel was going to spin hard one way if I didn't turn it). The traction control light never came on when this happened. Anyone else notice this in driving in bad rain storms?

xmech2k Report post Posted July 3, 2010 I'd say this is normal if you're hitting puddles with one side of the car and at high speeds. Traction control won't help hold your steering wheel for you when on wheel hits a lot of drag from a puddle.

DaveM Report post Posted July 5, 2010 Do you have the Traction Control engaged?:cry:It is automatically turned on everytime you start the car. Even if you manually turn it off it is reactivated on the next start.
