bbf2530 Report post Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) Got my in car today and I noticed there was a scratch on my weather, if you feel it, its not smooth. Whats the best way to fix this? Hi Howie. :D To my knowledge, unfortunately not a lot can be done (non-professionally) for scratched leather. It is sort of a "once the damage is done, it's done" proposition. Plus, not being able to see the scratch over the Internet makes it that much more difficult. You can try to treat the scratch with a good leather conditioner. If the scratch stands out due to the color, you can try to find a good leather dye-pen that closely matches your leather and may lessen the color differential. Other than that, you would probably need to contact a good automotive upholstery shop to see what they may be able to do, or recommend. Good luck. :beerchug: PS - Do not use any of those iron-on leather/vinyl repair kits sometimes advertised on late night television. :banghead: Edited March 18, 2010 by bbf2530
Howie411 Report post Posted March 20, 2010 Thanks, its not to bad. I actually called the company who installed my new windshield and they are paying for the repairs, I'm under the impression they scratched it some how.
