Cheap Ford Glass or just unlucky

Driving home last night, I got 2 chips in my week old windshield of my FFH when a bunch of rocks on the ground from some construction that was going on, on the highway hit it. Did I just get really unlucky or is the glass Ford uses just cheaper then any other car I've owned.

If anything Ford windshields tend to be more expensive than average so I'd have to say you were just unlucky.

Same gravel crap on the highway for me, but it just left a lot of tiny nicks in the windshield, and a couple of divots in the bumber paint. :nonono:
