Specifications and details for 2011 FFH and MMH

When should the specs and details for 2011 FFH and MMH be announced, and when are we supposed to be able to order them? Anyone with experience in this area?

Hi vschmidt. :D It is unlikley there will be anything but rumors and wishful thinking until sometime into 2010. My guess, the 2011 order guides may come out sometime the beginnning of 2010 (during the first quarter).

 

This educated guess takes into account that: The 2010's were just recently introduced. It is still only August/September of 2009. The 2011's would likely go on sale the same time/later in the year as the 2010's did. It could even be pushed back to a more traditional September introduction.

 

Of course, as I stated, this is all only an educated guess at this point.

You are a good guesser. My buddy tells me the order guides will be out by mid-March and production starts early July. There does not appear to be any holdup on the Hybrids - same timing as the ICE version. :shift:

It might be along wait. The 2010s were such an early introduction. Typically new models come in late summer for most manufacturers. 2011 will probably return to a "normal" schedule instead of early spring.

 

Probably not a whole lot of changes for next year either. Pure speculation, but if any changes I would guess the options of HID, push start, and keyless start.
