Random rant.... nothing to due with FFH

Why do people not pay their rent? I have a tenant living in my home in Ft Worth TX who has only been their for 6 months and now I am in the middle of evicting them because every day she emails saying "I will pay tomorrow, I swear, please wait". Well, 08JUL09 and still no rent. Also why do people refuse to use the phone? All she does is email me even though I ask numerous times to give me a call so we can work something out. I HATE people with no respect for others and no sense of responsibility. People blame the govt for all of the economic and world problems...those people need to look in the mirror and sack up.

No respect for others or no common sense - if there is a problem communicate it, most people will try & work with you, not sure where the blame someone anyone but me comes from but have noticed it :idea:

I had a similar issue. My renter just stopped paying rent with NO explanation or respponse. We went to court and had them evicted and got a judgement. Then I had to garnish wages/bank accounts to get the judgement paid. Then we found out that they had not paid the water bill since Aug '08. The city reverts the water bill to the owner's taxes -me- if the renter doesn't pay; they won't turn off the water and didn't notiy me of the bill due, thus, the water bill was the ONLY bill they could not pay and still keep service - seems to me like they planned to screw us from the onset. :banghead:

 

We moved back in and all is getting better (as long as I can recoup the judgement and water bill!)
