Cobra348 Report post Posted March 25, 2018 (edited) I'm not tickled on the lack of appreciable changes either ... and I just extended my warranty to 6/100K. I don't like how much ICE runs on the '17 as compared to my prior '15 but I think I'll keep it around for a while longer. stlouisgeorge Report post Posted April 7, 2018 I love my Platinum trim. I love it every day. If you prefer leather interior grab a platinum while you can. We might not see a leather wrapped dash again in a Ford for a long time (Lincoln of course will offer this). About the only thing I could give up is the auto parking. With the Platinum trim you get to drive a Lincoln for pennies on the dollar. Additional standard equipment has been added to the SEL and Titanium trim levels as well, while the top-end Platinum trim has been discontinued for 2019. Ford says the 2018 Fusion can be had in 2,000 different combinations, while the 2019 model has been pared down to 36 variations.2019 Ford Fusion Goes Under the Knife, Gains Standard Features 1 djminfll reacted to this
djminfll Report post Posted April 24, 2018 St Louis George, I agree. I traded in my 2013 SE for a 2017 Platinum and I couldn't be happier. I absolutely love the quilted leather seats and the leather dash, not to mention the Adaptive CC with Stop/Go, heated and ventilated seats, it is truly a Lincoln for pennies on the dollar. I actually drove an MKZ back to back with the Fusion Platinum, and I couldn't justify the extra $10-15K for the Lincoln. FYI, here is an interesting video on the 2019 - to be honest, other than the chrome strip being reduced, I can't see much of a difference.

However I wouldn't bet on that staying on NA models. I feel obligated to mention that I too have leather seats, although not quilted. They are heated but not ventilated. I have ACC w/stop & go as well, park assist, all the goodies except moonroof and nav. And several K less than a platinum.
