Luron Report post Posted October 22, 2017 Hi everyone, I just changed the oil on my FFH 2016. This is the first time I did it at 40K. I brought it to the dealer for the last 3 times. The oil drain plug does not have crush washer but a black rubber gasket. I bought some aftermarket rubber gaskets but they did not fit well so I decided to reuse the old one.My concern is that if the rubber gasket should be replaced every oil change. I don't even know if the dealership replaced it last time. I will have to purchase the OEM rubber gaskets from Ford for the next oil change.Thank you for your input. mmarreco Report post Posted October 27, 2017 If you are going to be changing your oil I recommend a Fumoto valve, forget about the gasket. 1 securityguy reacted to this
