Hello all, Thanks in advance for any responses. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to upgrade the sound on my 2018 Ford Fusion. It has the 11-speaker system that comes with the Tech package. The speakers are quite substandard. My difficulty comes in figuring out what are the limitations in adding an amplifier. Specifically, I need two questions addressed: 1) Will adding an amplifier lead to sound distortion due to microphone placement and/or noise cancellation technology? 2) What are the limitations in choosing an amplifier with regards to power, current, fuses, etc.? I've heard of people installing amplifiers in hybrid vehicles, only to have their hybrid batteries blown out. So this is a very serious issue, and frankly I'm a bit dissapointed that Ford does not make this information readily available. Thanks.

Hello. I have a Hybrid SE with the stock 6-speaker sound system. I've been reading up on a few forum posts about adding new/better speakers to the standard set. I've come across posts not recommending any non-stock speakers with the active noise cancellation system as it would distort the sound. If that's the case, what speakers are installed in the Titanium hybrid and how does that configuration work? Also, how can I get my hands on the factory speakers originally installed in the Titanium? Thanks.

I am a Howerd Stern fan and when listening to a segment last week, I had to step outside the car to take some photos for work. I left the car running because I was immediately next to the car. When I got back in the car, the segment had ended and I missed the last 10 minutes (or so I thought). I noticed the "replay" button in the upper right of the screen and pressed it. It changed the screen to display a scroll bar and I could see it had the last 30 minutes of audio to the left of the current position. The screen also has buttons with the double left and double right arrows on them. I pressed the double left button and it skipped back about 5 minutes of audio. If I held in the double left arrow button, it scrolled back through the audio, playing bits and pieces along the way. I was able to go back in the segment to where I got out of the HyTi and listen to the portion I missed. I have a Stilletto2 Sirius portable radio that does this, but I never thought my in-dash radio would do it, too. I searched to see if there were any other posts for "replay" but there were none. Hopefully, someone else will find this useful, too.
