Tonight, I had to get to the backup lamp bulb on the driver's side of my Fusion as it no longer illuminated. I thought I was going to find that the bulb needed to be replaced, but found that it illuminated when I wiggled it in the socket. As far as that goes, it is working now that I have put it back together. I'll keep on eye on this to see if it goes out again. The reason for my post is that I found getting to the bulb not so easy. Of all the vehicles I've owned over the years, this is the most difficulty I've had getting to bulbs at the rear of a vehicle. Even after reading the user guide, it was not as easy as I would have expected it to be. I am not a fan of the Fusion's access to the rear bulbs. I am wondering what others might have to say about their experience if they have had to replace rear bulbs in their Fusion. I still love driving my 2010 Fusion!

Sirius - how much are you paying?
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to royroddey's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I received another offer from Sirius this week. Get 50% off 12 months of SIRIUS (That's 6 months FREE*!) Take advantage of this special offer and get your next 12 months of SIRIUS service for only $77. Plus, we'll waive the reactivation fee, for a total savings of over $92. *OFFER DETAILS: Purchase a prepaid recurring 12-month plan of "SIRIUS Everything" on your inactive radio for $77 for your first 12 months and save 50% off the standard monthly subscription rate of $12.95/month. Other fees and taxes will apply to your subscription. Service will automatically renew for recurring 12-month periods, or any longer period you choose, and at our then-current renewal rates after your welcome-back promotional period ends, unless you cancel. Activation fee of $15.00 is waived on this offer. Blah, blah, blah.... Has anyone received a better offer? -
Congrats on the purchase of your new Fusion! I love my Fusion, too. I wish Ford would design in a lock on the fuel filler door. I have two recent model year Ford vehicles that do not have a locking door, and yet another vehicle I own from 1999 does, Does anyone know why Ford doesn't add the locking feature? My salesmen didn't know why.

Has Anyone used a power inverter?
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to mgbabe's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
I've used one in my 2010 Fusion to power a charger for a cell phone. I've also used one in my 2008 Edge to power a Sony portable 7" DVD player and a Microsoft Zune. None are as large as a laptop, but I've never had a problem using an inverter in either vehicle. Good luck! -
Door Keypad Code Location
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to randylb's topic in General Discussion
I agree. My two Ford vehicles have keyless entry, and I use them all the time when I need to get into either vehicle and don't have the keys. It's a no brainer! -
Door Keypad Code Location
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to randylb's topic in General Discussion
Since the code must be hidden in the car, I suggest that you dismantle your slightly used 2010 Fusion Hybrid until you find the hidden code. Now it may cost you an arm and a leg to re-assemble your slightly used 2010 Fusion Hybrid after you find the code, but hey, everyone else here on the forum could benefit from knowing where you found the hidden code. Sorry if this was more basic useless dribble. I am just trying to help. P.S. I hope I haven't offended anyone else. -
You might try here. SYNC

I think you are at the wrong end of the vehicle. That looks like the front hood rather than the trunk lid.

Can you post a photo of your Sport sporting its new wheels?

Sirius - how much are you paying?
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to royroddey's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
Poor? Sirius Satellite Radio sounds way better than any FM radio station in my 2010 Fusion. I don't own an mp3 player so I can't say how Sirius compares to that type of device. My six month free subscription ended at the first of this month, and the Sirius offers are more than I am willing to pay. So far, I have received two offer letters from Sirius. => Quarterly for $47.81.................................................$15.94/month => 1 year with 2 months free for $159.39........................$13.28/month => 2 years with 5 months free for $301.56.......................$12.57/month Listening to CD's and FM for now. I hope Sirius sends a better offer. -
That's it for me - the contrast is what I like about the chrome.

DVD movies on Navigation
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to xlricklx's topic in General Discussion
Just wondering why you want to change the nav unit to a dvd player. Why do you need to play dvd's at the front of the car? -
Leather Seats
TX 2010 Ford Fusion Sport replied to ruggsyrn's topic in Interior Trim, Seats, Seat Belts & Covers
The leather seats in my 2010 Fusion look ok to me. I am not concerned about any creases. Or maybe I should be. I'm interested to see what your creaes look like. Do you have any photos that you can post?
