My vehicle is equipped with Sync 3.1. However, I do not have the "Services" option anywhere in sync. When hitting the voice prompt and saying "Services" it is not an option. I have the 502A option. Does anyone have the "Services" option? I would like to use this to access weather and sports. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if a chip is available, but I do notice that accelerating to stay in EV mode must be done with a light pedal. I also notice that when in reverse, you can accelerate faster in electric mode than going forward. Seems to have more torque when in reverse. If that was availalbe going forward would be awesome!!

I have a 2010 Hybrid 502A. Sorry if this is a silly question, but I cannot find the answer to this question. When the door is open, I do not want the interior lights to go on. I see no switch anywhere to turn this function off. Also, pushing the light button does not turn it off. Also, noticed that the seat does not recline all the way to a lying position. I'm just comparing to my old 97 maxima where the seat would recline to almost a flat position. With the fusion it doesn't recline that far down. Thanks

Thanks. Now I know what to use. I'll probably use leather Meguires gold class leather cleaner/conditioner on everything.

FFH 502A. Sorry, but I am not able to tell if the dashboard is leather or not? What about the door panels? I don't want to clean it with something that will stain it. I'm using meguires gold class cleaner/conditioner for the leather. Still haven't decided on a good wax. Thanks

I never knew that some rims were clear coated. Hopefully the dealership will take care of this as it only has 500 miles and there's no way a rock or other flying object could have done this as it is really in the crease where the tire meets the rim. I should not have started peeling it toward the middle, but it is noticable where it started. Thanks for your input.

Did my first car was of the FFH, Noticed on one of the rims something peeling off. It looked like a thick plastic wrap coating at the edge of the rim near the wheels. I thought it was the protective plastic from being shipped, but as I tried peeling it was spreading inward toward the rim, not outward like I thought it would and come off totally. So the plastic seems to span across the entire rim itself. I am going to bring this up with the dealership and see what they say. But, has anyone had this issue or know what this would be? Very strange to me.

Was giving my FFH my first car wash and found a wierd thing with the windshielf wipers. I was unable to lift them up without taking them off, which I didn't want to take them off so I washed the car with them down and lifted them up as I washed the windshield. If I lifted the passenger wiper up, the driver wiper will hit the passenger wiper preventing it from being lifted all the way, could not even get it 5 inches off the windshield. The same happens if I try the driver wiper first. I am used to washing the car with both wipers up. Is it just my wipers or have you noticed the same things also.

Creaated a playlist in Windows Media Player, *.wpl, and to my surpirse it was identified by sync and played fine. You're also able to use sync commands to play it. I guess it uses the filename and matches it with what's on your thumb drive.

I noticed this also, but these playlists point to the directory and filename on the computer. I am not sure how this would work with sync. I will try to play around with it and post my findings.

I've been looking over the manual and playing with the NAV system, but I can't seem to find a way to create playlists for a USB device. I see it only available for the Jukebox. Does anyone know if it is possible to create a playlist for USB devices?

I guess I haven't noticed this on any car, not that I was paying any attention. The last car I had was a Nissan Maxima and was used to seeing this everytime I washed it. Seems like I'll be noticing a lot of things with this new car. I love my FFH.

I noticed that the outside of the rear window for my FFH does not have any rubber lining around it. When you look at it you can actually see the edge of the glass top to bottom, so there is maybe a half inch of space between the edge of the glass and sides. This is the first I've ever seen with any car. Makes me wonder if it were to rain if it would leak through I've tried looking for close up pics on the net but couldn't find any close ups. Could some of you guys and gals check your FFH to see if you see what I see. I hope mine is not missing anything where the gap is.

I just received and signed for my FFH today. Ice Blue 502A. The loan officer was offering the ESP for $2100, but I knew from reading the other topics on this site that I could get them cheaper online. The loan guy said that the ESP had to purchased at that time and would not be available afterwards without doing a full car inspection ($300). Is this true? I was going to purchase it at myfordwarranty.com later, but he got me spooked by saying I would not be able to. Is he full of it?

Nope, still not here. ETA pushed back to 1/27/2010. Spoke with the sales manager today and they are unloading cars today, but he did not see my stock number on the manifest. So possibly ETA will be pushed back again. Hopefully my car is not listed on the manifest and is there, but highly unlikely.

Argggghhhh.....Not here yet. ETA is/was 1/20/2010. Maybe I need to relax a bit, but reading the forums just make me want it NOW!! Hopefully my car is at the docks waiting to be picked up. If it's not, then the next boat here is in a week.

Nope, hasn't arrived yet. ETA is January 20th. I hear the stories of mileage getting knocked down because of cold weather, luckily I won't have that situation. But gas prices here are always over $3.00, currently at $3.24 for regular so I'll take a hit at the pump.

I was reading about leather care and would like to know what products you are using for their Ford. I have/waiting for my FFH and would like to know how to care for it. I read that some are coated with something that protects it and doesn't need care for a while before cleaning.

I can't wait - excitement :shift: , my car should be coming mid January. Emailed ford CRC and they said "Our records indicate that the foreign assembly plant has released imported vehicle". I hope that means that it has been built and scheduled for shipping. I am thinking 2 weeks by boat to Hawaii max.

So any other fee added to the invoice other than the $75 documentation fee is not allowed with a X-Plan Purchase? Are they trying to get more money out of me? These are the prices on the invoice. Finally received my VIN last week. Build date is 12/21/09. Anyone one have any idea how long to build one of these things? Mine is being shipped to Hawaii, so I am guessing that adds an extra 2-3 weeks alone. I am guessing build time to be about 1 week. Dealer might have cost me some money, I had the order placed and got 025 pricing on the Vehicle Confirmation, but when he finally put the order in the DORA stated 030 pricing, which is about $500 more. They were nice enough to write up an invoice before the end of the year so I receive $1500 state tax credit for a hybrid. I got the X-Plan, are they allowed to add additional fees to the invoice?
