Just got a new 2010 hybrid with the nav/sony stereo. I general, I like it a lot - to this point I've been using Satellite and a 1GB memory stick for all of my audio. I happen to have an 80gb laptop drive kicking around though, and I thought maybe I would be able to get away with using it via an enclosure like this Vantec enclosure which doesn't come with a power brick, but gets powered over USB. Has anyone done that successfully? A $15 outlay for 80gb of music in my car is a lot more attractive than buying a bigger USB flash drive.
