  1. Did anyone else notice that the tire warranty is only good if you have them rotated at least every 7,500 miles? So if you wait until 10k to have them rotated with the oil change, your tire warranty won't be any good.
  2. For what it's worth, our car took about 2 weeks from build to delivery.
  3. We've had our FFH for only a couple days now, but I'm absolutely loving the car. It's comfortable, quiet, easy to drive... really can't say enough about how great it is. And I've had no trouble driving 45mpg in EV mode. Easiest method I've found is to accelerate normally to that speed, back off the pedal, then put your foot down again once it drops into EV mode. It's pretty easy and REALLY ups the mileage.
  4. If there isn't anyone in the passenger seat, the system defaults the passenger side to the driver side temperature. More efficient.
  5. Going to pick up our new car today after work. 6 weeks to the day from order to pickup!
  6. If they placed the order properly yesterday (meaning it's verified by Ford), you should have a VIN in approximately 2 weeks. You should be able to look up your window sticker about a week after that.
  7. http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=157557,00.html "For example, if consumer A purchases a Prius on Sept. 30, 2006, and takes possession in February 2007, consumer A can claim the full credit for 2007, the year in which the vehicle is placed in service. On the other hand, if consumer B purchases a Prius on Oct. 1, 2006, and takes possession of the vehicle in February 2007, Consumer B can claim 50% of the credit in 2007, the year in which the vehicle is placed in service." The vague point is whether or not ordering is the same as purchasing. This paragraph makes it sound like it, because in what possible other circumstance could you buy a car but not put it into service until months later? Ordering has to be what they mean, especially if you've put down a deposit.
  8. No idea about other orders, but like I said above, they already told me my car is supposed to arrive on 10/5, so I'm not worried about waiting more than a couple days past that. :)
  9. I live in GA and ordered from OC Welch in SC. They're one of the largest Ford dealers in the country. No idea if that has anything to do with it. Possibly it's just faster because I live in the South and they're shipping from Mexico.
  10. It already should be. My window sticker showed up 2 weeks ago, just under 2 weeks after our order.
  11. I was quoted 10/12 last week (ordered 8/24), but the salesman called yesterday and now the ETA is 10/5. That's 6 weeks from order to delivery. Maybe they've ramped up production? Either way, I hope that date is correct. I can't wait!
  12. Got an email from the dealer today with an ETA of 10/12. That will be 7 weeks to the day from when we ordered.
  13. I agree. I ordered Sterling Gray, and as much as I do like it, the red is NICE and I wish I could have gotten it.
  14. Spoke to a rep on the phone today. Scheduled to build next week. So I should be (hopefully) getting a car in ~3 weeks!
  15. FFH, Sterling Gray with light stone cloth, 500A package. How many weeks is it taking people between seeing their sticker online and delivery? 2-3? 3 weeks from now would put us at 6 weeks from order to delivery.
