got mine yesterday. programmed it in 5 minutes and the local hardware store cut it for free. I love it. No chance of this becoming 'un-programmed' is there? I would hate to be stranded

Not sure if this is in the right forum or not. Just picked up a GPS for my 2010 Fusion and can't find the best place to put it. Right now i've mounted it to the lower left winshield above the side window defroster, but then if I need to use the power cable i have to string it across the steering wheel (not a big deal). Just wondering where others are putting their GPS units? Are you hard wiring it?
