  1. According to the Order Guide all Job #3 changes will be effective on all vehicles built on or after 11/30/09. Subject to change. :)
  2. There were some extra actions taken on the S model to reduce weight to get to the best-in-class fuel economy number. I'm sure the aluminum wheels were part of that action.
  3. I like my Sport Blue exterior on my SEL. In the future I'm going to add the Sport Blue dash inserts from the Sport model to my interior. :)
  4. I just went out and tried it again, shorts and no shirt. If the seatback is heated I could not tell. I really only felt it in the bottom. I'll check with my Ford contact for a definitive answer. :)
  5. Hmmm. Now I'm second guessing my reply. I tried mine (2010 Fusion) and only the bottom got hot plus the icon on the button only shows the bottom. I have contacts with Ford so I'll ask them when I get a chance. :)
  6. It's factory. SEL and SPORT models have it. S and SE have body color I believe.
  7. Rodeo. I don't think the exposed LED's are annoying. They are really not that big. You can't adjust the brightness of the ambient lights. However, Ford currently offers Ambient Lighting that can be dimmed in the 2010 Taurus and 2010 Mustang. Maybe the dimming feature will be added to future Fusions. To turn the ambient lights off, just continue to press the button til they go off. There are 7 colors so the 8th time you press the button they will go off. As far as DRL's, only Fusion's sold in Canada (where DRL's are required by law) have DRL's. Hope this helps.
  8. Hmmm. Sounds like different dealers do the clunker deal different. I did not sign a mountain of parerwork when I did my clunker deal, just the normal papers that go with a car deal; loan papers, etc.
  9. Thanks for the info. This one slipped past me. I did the CFC on the Friday it was approved and did not expect to get anything back as far as scrap value. Of course I turned in a 1986 Ford LTD II but it only had 66,000 original miles on it so maybe I will still get something.
  10. Since wheels sometimes get beat up, I would look into having them powder coated vs. paint. :)
  11. See this post. :) http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?showtopic=2192
  12. I see you are from Detroit. Give Kensington Motors a call. They have a location in Brighton. They are the recycler of Ford OEM parts. Ford used to scrap all test vehicles, etc., but now they certify the parts/vehicles and send them to Kensington Motors. http://www.greenleafauto.com/default.aspx
  13. It's on syncmyride.com. :) Your subscription* to Traffic, Directions and Information lasts 36 months from vehicle purchase date. Click on SYNC Owners, then TDI.
