  1. My all gas ICE vehicles get within 3 mpg of EPA (sometimes more, sometimes less) running highway speed limit +4 mph (74 in a 70). This dang hybrid gets 6 mpg LESS than EPA when running highway speed limit +1 mph (71 in a 70). Something is wrong with that!!!
  2. If that's true then your speedometer would be 1.5 mph fast. My speedometer is dead on my gps. I've wondered what the impact of 10% ethanol is on car computer calculated mpg. Considering here it's about a $1 premium to regular 87, the extra mileage doesn't warrant using it.
  3. Still makes zero sense! My ICE vehicles get very close (within 3 mpg) to EPA highway numbers when run at 4+ over the speed limit (65 or 70). I'm more than 6 mpg off the highway number!!!
  4. Who cares what the dang computer says. What does the math say?! mileage on tank of gas / gallons of gas pumped! I have 4 Fords and they are all consistently 3 mpgs lower than the computer mpg!!!
  5. I'm getting 95%+ on regen braking. Driving 71 on a 70 mph road isn't dogging it!
  6. The Highway EPA number is 41 mpg!!! Yes, it is a bit cooler now, but I'm not running the AC!
  7. If the odometer is off, then your speedometer is off. My speedometer is dead nuts on, but the computer is 3 mpg high. Is the computer based on ethanol free gas?
  8. Swapped a 16 Fusion SE for a 18 Fusion Hybrid SE. First tank of gas, 35 mpg..WTF??? Granted I commute 50 miles to work, 8 city and 40 on 70 mph interstate. Still, 35 mpg, by ecoboost got 30 to 32 combined. Cruise is set at 71.
