Don't see activity on this topic for a while... I have used the Eco mode primarily since the car was new (it now has 83K). I have a neighbor that has a 2015FFH that does not have the Eco mode, but his overall mileage is better than mine (near 50 lifetime vs 39 for me) BUT, our driving styles are vastly different. I find that Eco mode makes the car operate more smoothly and calmly - when it's off, I find the start from a stop very jerky, hard to modulate. I for sure use it on long road trips. I have learned to anticipate how the car will accelerate and decelerate and use it to plan ahead (re: traffic avoidance, etc.). The only time I toggle Eco off is when I see a long, steep hill coming up so the car won't slow down and bug people behind me; it maintains hill speed much better with Eco off, of course.

Rough running engine (vibration)

My '17 FFH Titanium now has 69,000 miles and has run on 100% synthetic 0-20W Amsoil since break-in. The ICE has been and continues to be very smooth running. I am always obsessing over a plug change, but the manual does not recommend that until 100K, if I'm not mistaken. Jaclark2000, have you had your car checked out? -
Thank you for your replies. The backstory on the bent wheel - at some unremembered point, we must have hit a pothole just right with (I surmise) the right front wheel/tire. On the next tire rotation, that wheel was moved to the left rear (I use a modified cross rotation). Then, for several thousand miles I noticed an increasingly noticeable "zoom-zoom-zoom' noise coming from the rear of the car. I believed it was a worn wheel bearing, and merrily DIY replaced two wheel hubs (and brakes) on both rears (the car had 66,000 miles). Much to my surprise, that job done, "zoom-zoom" was still there. I rotated the wheels front to back (inspecting each carefully - didn't see any damage or deformation) and lo-and-behold: "zoom-zoom" moved to the front. Definitely front left. Fearing a damaged belt, I took the car to a tire shop and had them inspect the tire; they removed the wheel and spun it on the balancing machine - and discovered a slightly bent wheel, on the inside of the rim. Hopefully, the rim repair will have now eliminated the noise! Will report back. Update: wheel repair has reduced the noise considerably, though it is still there. Likely many thousand miles with the bad wheel has patterned the remaining tire tread to make a similar noise. Still better, though.

On my 2017 FFH Titanium, I removed the left front wheel/tire assembly to have a rim bend repaired. I replaced it with the left rear wheel/tire assembly and installed the temporary spare on the left rear position. When driving the car to deliver the wheel to the repair shop, I expected the TPS warning system to squawk right away, but it did not. The TPS graphic actually showed four, well inflated telltales. Coming to a stop after pulling off the interstate, the TPS fault system finally piped up and displayed the left front data as missing (- - -) but continued to display pressure data from the left rear, where the temp spare is (does not have a TPS sensor, as far as I know - besides, it's inflated to 60 psi, and the telltale shows 34 psi). Anyone have any ideas as to why the TPS is behaving this way? Just curious. It has always reflected very accurate PSI data and any inflation or deflation action I take on each individual tire.

Just a suggestion on EcoMode... I always have it on. If I need more acceleration, just plant the throttle harder. Eco makes for much smoother driving. The only exception I make is on hilly terrain: I turn it off for a hill climb while using cruise control - it maintains speed much better - less lag, so no slowdown & catchup. Mine is a 2017 FFH Titanium - love the car, had since new; 66K and lifetime eco is 43mpg.

My 2017 FFH Titanium has been over-reporting MPG on the trip computer since I bought it new. I have kept a log of all fuel tanked and calculated mpg from that and the trip miles reported on the trip odo. The car consistently over-reports mpg economy by 2 to 5 mpg. I am wondering if this is typical or is there a calibration I need to make. Sorry if this topic has already been covered - please point to that, if so. Thanks!

I just took delivery of a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium last week from Gary Yeoman Ford in Daytona Beach, Fl. I flew down from my home in North Carolina and picked it up for the drive back to NC. It was the exact car I was looking for, Electric Blue exterior, Ceramic interior and no bells and whistles other than the Sony sound system with Sync3, including the Nav system. Very happy with the car so far. On the 550 miles or so drive home it delivered a verified 44.6 mpg, I took delivery with 20 miles on the car. Looking forward for good information from other forum folks as time goes by.
