You can't, the unit from the FFE as well as the HF35 are not the same unit. You're not going to get any additional performance or power by putting a unit from an Energi into a Hybrid.

More than likely the transmissions learned customization dropped out of it. My experience is that when I reset it via IDS or Forscan it goes way down for a week, then I have to burn the next tank of gas down to 3/4 and then top it off with premium. The 12v battery is the booting battery for the car, a bad one will cause all kinds of strange things. The usual first symptom of a bad one is that when you try to run the stereo with the ignition off, it turns off in less than 15-20 minutes with a power save message.

The other thing to look at is the electrolyte level in the battery. I pull the battery and top mine off every year. You have to remember that the 12v is technically the booting power supply for the car and the charge rate to it is really low compared to a non-hybrid.
