  1. No accidents according to Carfax. I'm considering going to a dealer and see if they can walk me through some things.
  2. I just bought my 2014 Fusion Hybrid a couple weeks ago. I hope I get as great of service out of mine as you did! Thanks for the update!
  3. The lane changing feature would be gold to me. I currently get the flashing lights on the mirror which are helpful, but not always sufficient. I need something that is going to alert me whether I am looking at it or not.
  4. I don't mind setting it to normal. I'm going to give it try next time I go out.
  5. I look forward to trying this out and maybe keep me out of trouble with the highway patrol. I was shocked when I found myself driving 95 mph! Thanks, I'll let you know how it works out. Paul
  6. New 2014 Fusion Hybrid Owner These are my top two issues right now. When I start the car I immediately get this warning "Collision Warning Not Available". I'm not even sure what this is, but I want it. When I try to use cruise control, I get this warning "Adaptive Cruise Not Available". This is very annoying. After years of driving a low power, noisy Toyota Corolla I am having trouble controlling the highway speed on my new car. It runs so much quieter and smoother than my Toyota, I have found myself going 85 to 95 mph without realizing it. Twenty five miles over the speed limit could cost my plenty, not including a hike in my insurance rates. Your advice on either of these two issues would be much appreciated. TIA, Paul H.
  7. You're car looks exactly like mine. Even better maybe. I'm just guessing what caused the problem and it has only happened once. I was 100 miles from home and hours from a tow truck. I was pretty rattled and greatly relieved when I got power back. Hoping it doesn't happen again.
  8. You may be right. I'll keep an eye out for that warning. Thanks the tip.
  9. I am a new Fusion Hybrid owner and I took it out on a short road trip (200 mile round trip) last Sunday to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a short hike. When I got back to the car I powered it up to cool off. I sat there for 5 or 10 minutes and decided to leave. When I put it reverse and took my foot off the brake it rolled slightly forward. I immediately put on the brakes. When I put my foot on the gas pedal I had no power at all. The car wouldn't move. I didn't and still know what the problem was. I thought I was going to have to call a tow truck. I was 100 miles from home and didn't know what I was going to do. I tried shutting the car off, shutting off the AC. After several tries I got the car to go into reverse and drove off. The rest of the trip was uneventful and I got home safe, but this rattled me. Now I'm worried about running the battery down if I'm sitting still. I would think the gas engine would kick on and keep the battery charged. Am I right to be worried?
