  1. The call is still on, just that the connection to car drops.
  2. It mainly happens during phone calls, has happened rarely when playing podcasts. I checked the version, it is 3.10…
  3. I have a ‘14 fusion hybrid SE with sync 2. AFAIK, it has bee updated to the latest version it supports. Of late, the Bluetooth connection drops randomly. This has happened with different phones. The ford owner account online says there’s a APIM recall, but dealer states the recall dates have expired. Does the APIM have any relation to Bluetooth drops? Any pointers on what else may be causing this issue. Appreciate any input on this.
  4. Yep, these are the buttons. They did beep for me, until it stopped recently.
  5. Update: The remote start also started working intermittently. Changed the battery on the remote, but didn't help. Finally ended up at the dealer. The took a whole day to diagnose the issue. Their solution was to re-flash the whole software of the car (that's what the dealer told me), which resolved the issue. The dealer said there's an updated version of the software but there's no TSB for it. Now, keep my fingers crossed that some other electronics issue doesn't pop up. This ended up costing me about $300 :cry:
  6. I have a 2014 FFH SE, first owner. I have driven about 51k miles on it. Recently I discovered that the HVAC control buttons (not the ones on screen) don't make the beep sound when changing settings or switching on/off. As my car is out of warranty, was wondering if this is an indication of something bigger failing on the electronics side. It's due for a regular maintenance and will ask the dealer about it, but wanted to put this question out here first.
  7. I followed up with couple of dealers in the area, and finally one of them set me up for the service. Got the service completed over the weekend. My recommendation would be to keep calling the dealers every few days to see if they have the part in stock.
  8. Update on this issue. None of the fixes mentioned above worked. Even the dealer pushed it back saying I need to talk to Ford. Finally, a call between the service rep @ the dealer and ford engineering resulted in re-installing the TDI module, which has the VHR functionality. After couple of trips to the dealer, finally got it working again.
  9. I did try this (same instructions in the link I had in my post), but the vehicle doesn't recognize the command.
  10. I have a 14 FFH SE with Sync MyFordTouch, and had run my health report earlier. Now, I am unable to find this option anywhere on the screen. And, I did try the option outlined in https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/sync/vehicle-health/how-to-run-a-vehicle-health-report-with-sync.html, but with no luck. Any thoughts/inputs on how this can be fixed? Does it require a trip to the dealer? Thanks, Vinay

  12. Of late, I have noticed couple of issues with the MFT/Sync on my Fusion. 1) The Navigation said SD card error, popping it out and putting it back did not help. However, the power recycle took care of this issue. 2) The whole unit became unresponsive on my commute to work, and then I suddenly see the Ford logo and screen turning off. Then, I see a progress bar with message saying "Running Scheduled maintenance" or something along those lines. During this time, bluetooth, aircon were not operational. As my car is still under warranty, is this something that I need to get looked at asap?
  13. Anyone know if installing the lightingfirm HID headlight will have any impact on the factory warranty? I am interested in getting it done, but if something were to get messed up later, i don't want the dealer the throw his hands up and blame it on the HID light install.
  14. Thanks for the replies. Picked up the car a little while ago. All they mentioned on list was found some body codes and it was reset. I will check the 12v battery.
  15. I started my car up this morning and none of the instrument cluster lights came on. However the engine started up and was able to put the transmission into drive. I drove out of the garage and then all the lights came on (like during a normal engine start). However, after that it gave me a message saying 'Service AdvanceTrac' and the traction control lights stayed on. I dropped it off at the dealer, and later the dealer calls me and says that they had to reset the 'computer' and it's good to go. Is this a transmission issue waiting to happen? Wanted to know to make sure the dealer wouldn't take me for a ride. Appreciate any info on this.

  17. I had my Fusion's DRL turned on at the dealer. I was dropping it for my free oil change and asked the service advisor. They said it would be looked into and luckily they were able to. Charged me $15 for it, but I am not complaining.
