When I turn on the car, I turn to the end every time. Even if I don't, the ignition switch should be sensitive enough. When the check engine light turns on, I don't change my hand motion when I attempt to turn off and then turn on the ignition switch.

Possibly, but I have to rely on the technicians at the Ford dealer to think out of the box. Ron

It happened again today at 4.30PM. I tried forcing the VHR to run but without any luck. I waited over 5 minutes. Yes. I have checked the DTC codes and nothing is recorded. Similarly, the dealer didn't find any error codes during the last service. Does the "Ready to Drive" indicates display? I'll have to remember to look for this. The dealer seems to be casual with this. Do I have any options? Better business bureau? Lemon laws? Thanks Ron

I've tried this before, but in the past, I get the message that the car hasn't been running long enough. Therefore, VHR won't run. While the majority of times are associated with starting in the morning, it does happen once in a while when starting after a trip to the store or similar situation. I'll remember to try the VHR. When I turn on or start the engine, the check engine light turns on, and I can't drive the car. I turn off the car (reboot if you will), and the engine light clears. This happens to me intermittently. I have a 2013 Fusion Hybrid that I purchase last July. I have brought it in, and the dealer doesn't see any record events or codes associated with the check engine light. I've checked the DTC myself and I don't see anything. Anyone else experiencing this? Suggestions? Thanks Ron

Ever since this TSB was applied, my gas mileage has been worse. I take it in for the first oil change today, and I mention the TSB and worse gas mileage. The service rep agreed and acknowledged that Ford knows about. No ETA on fix and the TSB can't be removed. Does anyone know of the ETA for the patch for this TSB? Thanks Ron
