The VIN glass etching should be on every piece of glass on the car. Most insurance companies will give you a discount if you can prove it's there (picture might do it). I did it myself to all of my cars and the rebates added up. Check our the Ford ESP long term maintenance plans, they are heavily discounted on the web. This is from Flood Ford < http://www.floodfordesp.com/buy_now.php?MakeID=1&ModelID=Select+Model+...&ModelID=15&SELECT_Model2=&SELECT_Model3=&VehicleYear=2010&x=13&y=10 >. Good luck and have fun! JT

Mine is a Grumman Yankee!

Another Bordeaux lover, with Dune interior, very satisfied. It does change color in the sun! No more new ones now, so we won't have to see our clones all around us in future the years. JT

It took my FFH about 4500 miles before my HVB battery display in Empower began to show a full charge up to the very top of the little battery icon. Before that, it would only show a max charge of about 4/5 up the battery icon. Mileage went up 6-8 mpg to about 48 at that time. It is very sensitive to the temp and load though, 3 pax and 30 degrees (climate on) brings mileage down to the high 30's, bummer. JT

< To anyone looking to get one, GET IT! You will love it! Just make sure it was built JOB2 if its a 13. To those who have a 13 JOB1, and still have issues, I hope to hell that Ford finally recognizes that some DO have issues and does something to correct it, since not everyone has a dealer like mine. > I have a build date of 6/20/13, could it be a 13 JOB1? Where is this listed? I have a copy of the Window Sticker & don't see it. JT

I too have experienced a pretty significant mileage loss due to having the ICE run to warm up and stay warm. Does anyone know how a Ford Dealer might react to these covers? Could they cancel or not honor the warranty? JT

JTBOGUS, Bordeaux, Dune cloth, Nav, Tech, BU camera, MyTouch, build date 6/20/13, delivered 7/05/13 off the lot, 45.2 Lifetime. Cool!

Me Too! How 'bout a folding pattern that is easily mail-able. Anyone know (or can guess) how Ford would react to seeing the cover when at a Dealer? JT

Fit & finish flawless, absolutely no problems, 5 months, 6000 miles, 45 mpg lifetime. The cold wx sure kicks the snot out of the mileage, though. I use all the driving tips I read on the Forum, plus a few of my own. First hybrid, next one will be the Energi.

One Year Ownership Reports - 2013 FFH
jtbogus replied to B25Nut's topic in Lounge - Fusion Hybrid Talk
I'm curious if the Dealer installed stock ambient lighting and sills and what did they charge? Ford has a remote starter for the FFH, it uses a button. I picked up mine in July, already have 6000 miles on it and do speed a bit. No problems, one Dealer Update visit, I look forward to driving it every time. It looks and drives great and I will get the Plug-in when they improve the batts/trunk size. Imagine, a HVB with 7 times the capacity we have now! -
The Chicago PD are using them also. I spoke to an officer that had one assigned to him, and he was not given any instruction on how to operate it, so he had no idea what the mileage numbers were. I'll bet his braking and acceleration scores were pretty low. He liked the car's handling and comfort, but thought it a bit slow off the line. He did say that he could only get it to 105 mph, so im guessing they are pretty standard models. These FFH's will get a years worth of our kind of use every month in police service, I would love to hear how they are standing up to the (ab)use. The CPD ones were unmarked, had internal LED police flashers and were being used for escort duty when I was involved with them. I'll post a video of the escort when I figure out how to do it, they look pretty cool lit up at night! JT
