I was reading in my manual that the keyless entry on our cars so equipped, has an anti-scan feature that disables keyless entry for one minute after 7 incorrect attempts. Is that similar what you are referring to here?

What? Y'all don't have the ability to dim/brighten your ambient lighting in the Fusion? Things that make you go... hmmm, I should have gotten an MKZ. :) Just messing with ya guys! Hey, Ford had to save some things for the Lincoln to justify the higher price.

My MKZ has the 10-way passenger seat option. I am sure it is a direct swap for a Fusion, with some possible extra wiring. The way people drive these days I bet MKZs start showing up in wrecking yards pretty soon.

I considered a FFHyTi as well. The deciding factor was that you could only get it with a BLACK leather interior. Not a fan of black interiors here in North Texas where we can see 100+ temps from late spring to early fall. ;)

Nope. All Zs have the same optional wheels. It just depends on what level of luxury you are willing to pay for. :)

My Z has the same symptoms. I have gotten the BS warning, the stupid auto up/down windows need to be re-trained almost on a daily basis, and now my audio won't come on and the entire car shuts down after just a minute on ACC power. I have an appointment at my local Ford dealer on the 23rd to have the TSB completed. Keeping my fingers crossed it fixes the problems. ;)

Hey hb. The MKZ does not have any "in your face" hybrid badging. The only clue that it is a hybrid is the 2.0H badge on the trunk. I am seriously thinking of getting a set of Fusion hybrid trunk lid badges to stick on the sides of the Z. If I am going to go green, I would like people to know it. :)
