  1. The more posts I read, the more it tells me that these cars just need to be driven with common sense, and not babied, worrying about ICE kicking in.
  2. I don't think rim size is going to matter. I would think all different size rims are going to have about the same height tire. Just not as much sidewall as the rim diameter gets larger. I am hoping some guys wanting a spare like myself will look into what may work and post it. My car was just ordered last week, so who knows when I will be checking this out. I could be wrong on this though.
  3. I was looking around and found that apparently the lug pattern is a 5 x 4.25 or 5 x 108 . I found a list online of cars with apparently the same pattern, and was curious if anyone has tried any of these to see if they would fit. I don't have my car yet, or I would be out investigating this. I also feel like a spare tire is a necessity. If anyone checks this out, please post what works, so I could find one myself. 4. I wonder if the last model fusion has the same lug pattern, and possibly the same size donut. Maybe could get that stuff at a junkyard.
  5. I am glad you are doing better with your car acdii. I know its been frustrating for you. I hope everything works out for you and your car. BTW, where did you get your scanner, and what model is it? Seems like a good investment.
  6. I called about 15 or 20 dealerships, before making my decision. I got about 2000 off msrp ordering a titanium fusion. One thing I learned when shopping for price, is ask what the "out the door" price is, versus the car price. I think its best if you know exactly what you want, and call the internet sales person and ask them for their best price on this exact car, out the door. The dealership I ended up with was slightly higher on the car price, but they didn't have a Doc. fee, where everyone else was 599 for that. Get breakdowns sent to your email, and eliminate dealerships that don't want to work with you. Once you start getting numbers, see who will match or beat the price, especially if theres one specific dealer you are hoping to get. I drove my wife crazy doing this, and kind of obsessed with it, but my time is free. I had to fight her and the salesman the first dealer I went to, as shes sitting there telling me in front of him , :that's the price of the car" . I went back into that dealer later and told the salesman, "I bet you wish I wasn't there, so you guys could high five each other after bending her over with that msrp price.". I hat seeing people being taken advantage of. I hope that helps. I posted my price in another post if it helps.
  7. I just ordered mine yesterday Toz. Im hoping since they just started on the titanium hybrid production that they move faster than they were. Hoping anyway.
  8. I just signed the papers on my fusion hybrid titanium. I appreciate this forum, as you guys saved me some cash on this baby. I had called ford customer service as someone had posted in this forum about a potential 750 certificate. I was waiting for this when my dealer matched the lowest price I had found. I advised him I was waiting to see if it would come soon. He asked me my zipcode, and found the certificate through their website, and applied that in addition to the 500. My out the door price that I ordered mine for including all rebates is 32,915.74. That's a titanium with NAV, ACC and all weather mats. I feel good about this deal. Thanks guys for all the good info in this forum. Im Stoked.
  9. Yea, I wanted the deep impact blue also, wife shot me down. The ice storm is pretty, but kind of mellow. I think that's why she wants it.
  10. Hi guys, I have been all over this forum, and a huge amount of info on here. You guys have convinced me to go with the ACC after all the rave about it. So heres where I am . 2013 Fusion Titanium hybrid. Either ice storm or ingot silver, ACC NAV and all weather mats. Out the door North Carolina price, tax tags doc, everything 33,665.74 . thats including the 500 rebate. Is that where I need to be? I have done extensive search and that's the best I can get. Would also like to hear preferences between those 2 colors. Wife doesn't like what I want, and I don't like what she wants. Weve agreed between those 2. Thanks, Steve
  11. I tested a AWD fusion titanium, and loved the interior. I am pretty set on that, but not one salesman will come out and say "I can sell you a titanium hybrid for ------" I am looking for a ballpark area that I should be paying for this car. I am wanting all weather mats, and NAV. One dealer I was talking to also told me he was positive that they didn't make a hybrid fusion in High Impact blue. I have seen one on the web at a dealer in Florida I believe. I feel like I know more about the cars than any salesman I have talked to.
  12. Hi, I am a newbie to the hybrids, and am seriously contemplating jumping into the hybrid titanium line. After reading these forums, it seems like it may be a long one, but I don't see anything that compares to it. I was also curious as to what people are getting their price to when ordering. Thanks guys, Steve
