Anyone receive recent update from their Dealer or Ford customer service on crackling noise issue, I plan to call next week to my dealer in Grapevine , Tx to get update on my Hotline assistance request, and order correct shifter knob....

Fix on cracklin noise? if so where is report found....

Anyone experience a rattle from something area passenger side door/right dash area, seems to occur when hitting slight bump and when passenger not occupied

Your is little louder than mine, but I get multiple crackling/pops when I just begin to accelerate in EV or ICE. Hope a fix is found soon, disturbing for new vehicle to have this issue...thanks for time to do this, your recording is excellent...

Mine getter louder too an more often even now slowing down to a few miles per hour, it is definitely NOT normal, my dealer tried to fix mine by changing out front right strut and bearing which did not work....

Does "torque link", is that the link on the steering system, anything more specific?? you may have something here....has it been a week, how many miles would you say you put on it since service done to cure noise...???thanks,

Good Info, thanks,,, A Forum POLL need to started to detail, owners with this noise issue, what fixes have been tried, successful or not , so that hopefully someone at FORD to run down the problem quicker.....................

Appreciate update, my dealer tech used chassis ears and traced to right front strut and bearing which they changed but did not cure noise, dont' know if they used ears on steering knuckle as your tech mentioned, I take they are not sure, think its a waiting game till they trace it down and maybe used the data from the various failed fixes to find the right one...thanks....

What made walk away in hurry, is that local Hyundai dealer jacked up the price from above stickler about 20%,,,, went directly to Ford and bought my first Hybrid, 2010 FFH....

Will be interested once dmt1971 posts concerning if noise has returned after a week or so... my seems to have gotten a little worse, once dealer replaced front passenger side strut and bearing......

Sounds like the response from Dealer that they had tried to repair three others with same noise problem with no good results, that this is a very wide spread problem in Fusion Hybrid 2013, hope they put their best engineers on this....becoming more annoyed at noise in such a hi-tech new car...

Well, as weather gets up to mid 70's and 80's here in Texas, seeing more of a 8-12 more mpg increase, in cool weather the ICE has to run get EV warm for it to function effectively. Warm weather already there... love it...

You have a recent build, mine is a Dec 2012 build noise started at about 500 miles and seems to be getting worse, hearing now when I slow down to about 10 mph, and always when I start to accelerate either in EV or ICE... annoying especially with a price tag at 36k...

Was CV Shaft only, assuming there are two front left and right or just one replaced, was axle replaced, please advise...thanks,

My noise seems to getting louder, hear it now sometimes when I slow down at about 10 mph. Vehicle has 1100 miles, started at about 500 miles. Had it in once when dealer tried to fix, changed right front strut and bearing which did not fix.,,, waiting on Ford to come up with rememdy and it done along with new shifter..since I bgt 505a pkg. Hopefully Ford will do something to remedy this, could be costly to Ford, seems to be widespread issue, many owners reporting , given this forum...
