TBS 13 07 11A "System Off to Save Battery" Message Just came from Dealer, had Fuel Delivery Module replaced under recall, also mentioned about message "System Off to save Battery" on center display, when I cut off key. had battery charged and TBS 13 07 11 done earlier this year, worked at first, recently got message again, lets see if 13 07 11A works, requested to have battery changed but they did not....service feels it charging system issue... we will see????

  4. I fell that vehicle re learns driving patterns without hard reset, after PCM update, but takes some time to do so and how and how much you drive vehicle. I had my done back at end of July, first not impressed, now 6 weeks driving with economy in mind and a light foot, getting I think excellent MPG, the last 6 trips from 3 miles in length to 18 miles in length 40/60 Hwy/street ratio getting +50 mpg, very happy with this... Lifetime MPG gone up to 45.2

  6. I agree,when I first got PCM update, mileage worst, now after 10 days of mostly city driving,getting better,now 45.2 lifetime mpg...very pleased now
  7. I actually noticed have noticed a drop in short trip MPG performance after TSB 13B07 - POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) CALIBRATION was applied. Anyone else notice this???
  8. Had Cracklin noise fix to both front sides today, noise gone, drives great, had TSB 13B07 - POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) CALIBRATION done at same time, no noticeable difference so far, only drove about 5 miles or so....
  9. Had new correct leather shifter installed today, along with "Battery Saver Off" TSB performed, Service Rep stated that thrust washers for TSB for crackling noise are not available to order yet. Anyone in Dallas, Ft Worth have any luck in getting washers and having installed, ??? I know some areas given recent posts on this forum were able to get they mystery washers to solve crackling noise problem....

  12. Getting "Battery Saver Off" message again, 60 days ago dealer charged battery and said was fixed. Message returned this time about 50% of time.. Anyone have TSB 13-05-1 done with replacing 12v battery and it solved problem????????????
  13. Talked to my Ford Service contact today, on fix, he says he can get all parts except thrust washers, expected date for receiving is July 15th.....anyone else get that response,
  14. If you think ICE is loud in 2013 FFH, try the 2011 FFH, Ford has made great progress with noise abatement in two years, thanks,,, Even though I have wrong shifter issue, crackling noise and Battery saver Off issue, still happy with vehicle, currently getting 45+ mpg overall...

Hybridbear, thanks for doing the poll, I tried a few weeks ago to setup poll on forum, but could not get it to work....hopefully this will illustrate to Ford this a issue that demands their attention to remedy, like my vehicle but noise is annoying and could lead to bigger issues.. thanks again... P.S. maybe you could add to the poll what owners who have noise had done at Ford Service to cure problem but failed in my case they replaced front passenger strut and bearing which DID NOT cure problem, other owners had other service done with no success. this could help FORD narrow done solution....

  20. Had a similar experience in buying my 2013 FFH in February. Found the vehicle via Ford website, the vehicle was located in outside of Austin and I live in Irving, Texas, some 180 miles away. Talked to a sales rep at the dealership, paid deposit to hold, purchased airline ticket and sales rep picked me up at the airport, everything went well, until I checked the odometer, the vehicle had 225 miles with a lifetime mpg of 4.7. The dealership had no explanation for mileage and mpg. I complained and wanted some concession for the mileage and potential hard driving with the very very low mpg, (maybe an courtesy extra 6 month term on satellite radio). The sales manager actually became somewhat belligerent and refused to do anything for me, He complained that is already a low profit deal and a vehicle is considered NEW as long that has not been titled. So I guess at his dealership he can sell a un titled vehicle with several thousand miles as NEW. I had just sold my 2011 FFH two days before, and was facing purchasing a one way ticket home. If I would have been at local dealer I would have walked, but I bought the vehicle. I had high expectations and did months of research beforehand. The vehicle seems to be OK, I have the cracklin front end noise issue, which my local dealership tried to remedy but failed, waiting on fix from Ford. In addition the security code for the keyless entry was missing from the owners manual and had my local dealer was able to download by attaching a computer to vehicle. I guess the previous user retained key entry code from manual. This delivery in my opinion was a disaster, I did call Ford customer service and relayed the story but nothing came out of it as far as I know. I guess I should have asked about the mileage before going down, never bought a new car with more that 20 or 30 miles on it... As the Ford customer service agent commented, the dealerships are independent and they form their own sales practices...
  21. Just wondering, will warranty cover such rattles and noises, buzzing, I'm waiting for fix for front end cracklin noise and to have shifter replaced and have noise in interior passenger side look at by Dealer,,,, my vehicle delivered in February with 1700 miles...
  22. Sent email this morning to my local Ford Dealer service dept. pertaining to front end noise issue you referred. . I referenced the Hotline Assistance Request 106198928 which I was issued March 27th, no reply yet....
  23. Happy with mine, Ford fix my cracklin sounds from front end and I will be thrilled, getting up to 57 mpg on short trips as warm weather returns to Dallas..... :victory:
