Hi Meagan, The messages stopped the next day and so I did not bother with a trip to the dealer. It has just started happening again so I'll mention it in the visit for the upcoming Oil Change. Thanks, I'll keep you posted.

My '13 has just started delivering the message on startup and shutdown. Mileage is 19200. There was a previous occurrence for a few days and then it cleared up. It seems there is a different chime sounding too. I'm gonna contact my SA first thing Monday. It seems that the message showed up since I had temperate weather not needing anything except radio.

4.3 mile trip to coffee twice per day. This afternoon trip outbound, HVAC set at 76 ambient 85, mileage for the trip 30.3mpg. Homebound trip one hour later, HVAC off, front windows down, mileage for the trip (seems like we hit every light homebound) was 50.6mpg. Before I retired, I was commuting 20 miles each was, I got 43mpg lifetime average on my '10 FFH. I traded for the '13 and all the toys on it. Styling too. I've been disappointed with my lifetime running around 38, but I know that the short radius of my retirement is a huge factor. TerryB

:sos:Kim, I think I have figured out what has happened: I received the 3.6 update on a stick from Ford and installed it. I DID NOT ever get around to reporting the successful install. The update showing for me is for 3.6. The problem is that I wiped the stick to download 3.7 so no have no way to report success of 3.6 update. New HELP needed. TerryB

Kim, I sent a PM with my info. I have made two attempts to update with files downloaded from support site. Both attempts make the car report that it i up to date and to remove the stick drive. Thanks, Terryb

I emptied the flash drive I received for the last update and saved the downloaded files to it. When I tried to update today the car told me that I had the latest version installed and didn't take any further action. What now?

In Texas you have to wear a front plate if the car is equipped to do so. Is it possible the A/Ms don't have an optional front bracket??

Dang, I was real close to having the pieces for my spare. Unfortunately, Pedex seems to have given someone else my wheel. Maybe they'll find it tomorrow. They did find it today and I've got it in the spare well now. Got a lot of diameter room though so have to look further.

Well, the saga of the moon-roof shade rattle has ended with the trim replaced and everything running quietly. I spoke with Wendy the regional manager about my disappointment with FMCs quality and procedures that let them get the wrong headliner ( number transposition ) and a damaged A pillar trim piece. I suggested the VIM be a part of parts requests to block wrong parts, she said she would document my suggestion.
