cwb1183, definitely check with the dealer (I did at closing). Between printed brochures we ordered (Fusion Hybrid and C-Max), email just like yours, and my acct at owner.ford.com, we had different fine print for what seemed to be the same program - 33938, which is probably what you have under "claim in VINCENT using #XXXXX" In the end, I just gave the dealer my customer ID (which owner.ford.com listed as "certificate number"), he looked up in Vincent, came back and said total rebate was $1250. Pretty happy about that.

Less than a week with the car but, so far, yes. Mileage is all right and climbing a bit - i just parked in the garage with a "lifetime" (i.e. over the miles I've driven) 38.0 mpg. So I still think low 40s lifetime when it's all said and done will likely happen. If I had to order again, I probably would add Adaptive CC.

Switched to empower today. Definitely the way to go, for me. I guess i was confused at delivery because empower's "EV power threshold" only shows while moving (same in the old car, it has been a while so I forgot about it). And so the "split power" in engage mode seemed more informative. I'm still missing a couple of things I had readily available in my 11 FFH dash. Distance to empty and accessory power (hey, sometimes every little watt counts). I am sure I will get those with some extra tinkering...

Engage, so far. But after reading a bit about the other options in the manual, probably switching to Empower (or perhaps MyView). Primarily to get he power gauge with the ICE on/off threshold. To do precisely the maneuver KingJL describes, which I used to do a lot in my old 11 FFH (still doing it on the new one, but he threshold makes it easier) I also used to call that maneuver "the catch" and, apparently, was doing "pulse and glide" w/o knowing what it was.

I have been using Engage on the left, but I haven't have time to look into the other options, especially MyView. On the right, either entertainment or nav. Never the leaves (didn't like them even on my 11 FFh, where they could be replaced by a bar graph). I find the nav display on the right of the speedo particularly useful, when following directions. I also often load that "energy flow diagam" in the MFT screen on the center stack. You know, the one with with a picture of a Fusion on he background. In there, I find the "why is the ICE running?" text helpful. But the whole thing is a bit out of the way so I use it sparingly.

Congrats! Looks great. I thought I spotted splash guards in the pictures by the lake (but not on some of the other ones) If so, are those the OEM ones? I am thinking about installing on mine. Look discreet enough. And hopefully help protect my baby

Hi all, My first post on this forum. For some of you, I have been hanging around over the last couple of months in the "Blue Oval Forums", under the moniker "Salva". But, as it turns out, I had been registered on this forum under the moniker you see here, for a couple of years. Without ever posting (or reading as far as I remember). Which is a shame that I plan to fix moving forward. So here I shall live under my full name, which I bet few here will be able to pronounce :-) I am a "veteran" FFH owner. Used to own a '11 FFH, unfortunately lost in a collision last Sep. The '13 FFH is the replacement, and I just took delivery of it yesterday. I just posted a gallery of pictures taking at the dealer yesterday. So head over the photo gallery if curious. I have about 60 miles on the car now (had 22 at delivery). Not a huge amount to report. Main points: - love it so far. Worth the 12 weeks wait for my order. - It looks prettier in person than I thought it would (and I had test driven one, in a different color). My quick pictures also don't do it complete justice... - For my 38 or so miles, I am averaging 35.7 mpg. Given all the conditions, a decent number.
